I have no issue with Texas Tech making the playoffs. They were overrated and seeded too well by the committee but I don’t have an issue with that like I do having both Tulane and JMU being in. Don’t overreact to one game where rust is a factor. I think the bye week is a huge disadvantage and came into play as well. If you want to play this game of shitting on teams, maybe shite on lsu. tech beat UH by 24 pts. What did UH do in their bowl game?? Oh yeah they beat us. But ppl want to make excuses for us and say we had backups in. I don’t get the need to shite on every team that loses. Only 1 team wins it all. Doesn’t mean every single other team sucks. The sec hasn’t looked great this postseason if we are honest. Maybe stop shitting on everyone.

It’s pretty obvious that the bye week is causing an unfair advantage to the worse seeded teams based on this start tonight and last years results. They need to revamp the entire system. It’s not like the nfl where the bye team played two weeks ago. These teams haven’t played in over a month. It needs to be addressed. Total joke.

Agreed but you still have enough talent out there to not give up 38 against them. Again excuses continue. Just like the ones ppl made for Vandy and atm. What’s the excuse for bama when we went against Milroe or against Reed in 2024. He’s not bad but very inconsistent. He tends to struggle mightily against mobile guys and relies heavily on the blitz, which is why you often see the boom or bust results. I don’t see how ppl can watch our defense and think he should be paid the most of any coordinator.

No one is saying there should be no dropoff at all. But giving up 38 vs UH is ridiculous. We had guys like Guillory, Pickett, keys, etc in there. Our backups have more talent than most G5 starters I’d think. The fact that the excuses are there for Baker is exactly my point that he appears overrated. I don’t think he’s crap. But he’s not as good as he’s being paid to be. With his salary and the way LSU fans talk about him, I’d expect him to find a way to slow down a team like Houston with the talent we had last night. Our backups should not give up 40 to Houston? Baker needs superior talent to not give up 40 to Houston???what would he give up had he gone to Tulane by that logic? Evryone is always complaining about the offense and rightfully so. However, Blake baker shouldn’t give up 21 to Houston in a half. We are paying him to be the the best in the business and he seems average to me

So you think Miami and ND should get in over bama Vandy and Texas???? Really??? ND should be the easiest decision of the bunch. They beat NOBODY but USC. Easiest call. The difficult choice imo should be between bama Vandy Texas and Miami.
