Tre’s play was the second greatest play in LSU baseball history

I 100% believe it was the greatest play in LSU baseball history. Not only the importance of the play, but also the level of difficulty.

That game against Wake may have been the best baseball game I have ever watched (at any level).

You’ll be able to better judge when we get down in the first three innings of one of our upcoming CWS games. The retards will come out of their holes and start shouting about how CJJ should have pitched-off, started a different player in Right Field, played Braswell less or started Trindon Holiday at defensive end.

I have no opinion about WVU entry into another conference. I am only chiming in to tell you this is the greatest analogy I have ever heard in regards to something being highly unlikely. I am stealing this!

No question. Skip was, in large part, responsible for pushing the new format forward. At the time he said it may not necessarily benefit LSU, but it will benefit college baseball. He was right. College baseball is much bigger and more popular than it was back then.

The trade off is that it’s harder to get to the World Series now (both from a format standpoint and a parity standpoint).

I love that throw too, but it is not in the same universe as Bo’s throw.

Im smart enough to realize the ball was about to be possessed well before the runner got to the plate if not for the drop off the glove.

The rule doesn’t state that the defensive player can legally block the plate if he is “about” to possess the ball. It states, verbatim: “Defensive player cannot block a base without clear possession of the ball”.

I personally don’t give a shite and I like watching night games but the NCAA should probably step in and not let coaches have input on the decision to be honest.

Wow! If you believe this nonsense you will literally believe anything.

You seriously think Jay Johnson has any undue influence over whether the game should be delayed?

It was *literally* -10000 last night when I looked at 8:30pm.

Don’t know where you looked, but the highest it’s been on Draft kings is where it is right now (-3500). I grew up in the gaming industry (primarily sports betting) and the discrepancy between books would, at most, be a few percentage points. Nowadays they (mostly) set their own lines, but they all use the same metrics. There is virtually no way one book would have it at -3500 and another book would have it at -5000.

This has changed. As of now LSU is -5000. So maybe that means we start an ace?

No. Still -3500 an hour before first pitch

Jones doesn’t warrant protecting right now. He has been a relatively easy out for the opposition. It is my guess that Curiel gets hot again before Jones does (but hopefully it happens simultaneously in about a week).
From Draft Kings:

Money Line
LSU -298
A&M +220

Run Line
LSU -2.5 (-115)

Over/Under

Common sense but now “medical crew” will remain on sidelines.

This.

Player gets signal to go down after ball is set. He falls down “writhing in pain”. Play is stopped. Clock is stopped. Medical crew remains on sideline while Player very slowly stands up and walks off the field. No timeouts or penalty assessed bc medical crew did not enter field.

Fake clock stoppage successful.

Player re-enters game one play later.

Repeat as often as necessary.

offense to Rudy, but John Williams at SF is a much better option.

I saw both play and can’t imagine any scenario where I choose Big John over Rudy.

Vegas is lowering their odds to make people like yourself believe we have a shot… and they take your money and get richer

So the grand plan by Vegas is to sucker a few hardcore LSU basketball fans into placing some ill advised bets? Please tell me you don’t really think this is how Vegas operates. If it was, they would be out of business in one season.

ETA - Lowering odds is how Vegas discourages betting on a team. If they want to encourage betting on a team they raise the odds.
