Guy that wrote that piece graduated from UF - of course he's going to spin it in favor of the Vaginas.

If Florida wants to pay USA, then pay us the entire purse for losing a home game, sure play in on 11/19.they should also have to pay us for mental anguish...JERKS!

Alleva said no one contacted him about the Nov. 19 thing. Ordinarily I'd be skeptical believing this but given the facts that we offered to play Saturday, Sunday or Monday, there, here, had lodging for them if they were to come here, charter flight transportation from LSU for Florida to get here, all of which were declined by Foley, makes me think Alleva is telling the truth. Florida never wanted this game to happen. It's blatantly obvious at this point.

I watched his whole press conference and this is accurate. No reason for him to lie and I believe him. Florida wanted no part of playing.

Anyone who thinks LSU looks bad for not cancelling a home game to accommodate UF for dragging their feet is a dumbass.

How was this allowed to be published? It just got published too.

Because once the decision was made and Florida had their press conference the story was over. No one cares what our idiot AD had to say three hours after the fact.

Keep in mind if this game doesn't get played ESPN loses revenue to. I hate going all conspiracy theory but this is them trying to bully us into playing the game so they can get theirs.

We were already playing a road game against an SEC team, so that's irrelevant? While I believe moving this game to 11/19 is clearly the best option for playing this game (money issues there, which I'd love to see fall on UF), UF needs some kind of repercussion for their massive FUBAR.

How many games have we inconvenienced ourselves with in the past 11 years, including letting SC come here last year and giving them all the hospitality in the world? Then UF makes everyone wait for their SELFISH scheduling decision, which CONVENIENTLY might have the game perma-cancelled. That cancellation is, what do you know!? Nothing but convenient for THEM.

The game needs to be played, UF needs punishment, and the SEC needs punishment.

Because it's a report from a confirmed source. Just because JA says it isn't so doesn't actually mean confirmed sources aren't saying the opposite.

You're choosing to believe JA because he's the AD of your favorite team. It doesn't mean he's correct, from a media perspective.

Florida offered that to LSU

this narrative is amazing.LSU offered Florida everything remotely reasonable to play the game Sat/Sun/or Mon this weekend.

Now Florida is supposedly making some gesture as to "offer" us to come back to Gainesville, buy out South Alabama, lose home game revenue, and play three SEC road games in 19 days?

Just what is it that Florida is "offering?"

When did McMurphy confirm it? Probably shortly before he tweeted it, I'd guess.

I'm not saying he's right and Alleva is wrong. I am saying if he has sources telling him that, there's no reason to retract just because Alleva says otherwise. You gotta trust your sources until it's proven to be incorrect.
