Once again this is just for a small amount of kids right? Just the ones that didn’t get to take advantage of the 5 in 5? So it will only impact this year?
I don’t get why people are all up in arms over this shite. It is just giving them the choice they didn’t get 4 months ago. It’s a non issue going forward. Just let it be

I dont think so for a couple of reason. too much trouble and they will probably lose. The truth is these kids got screwed due to the NCAA's incompetency. Its not even on the conferences. Also can give the conferences another reason to break away from the NCAA which is what they want to do anyways.

things have changed a lot since then and apparently that is not even true the 15-0 vote.

41 athletes filed a suit and were successful in Dallas. The judge's order in the Dallas case is the first case to specifically block a conference from creating rules that could punish schools in their league for signing any of the plaintiffs. The order specifically says that the NCAA, SEC and Sankey cannot block the players' return based on transfer portal rules or their time on a pro roster. It also states that if any of those groups want to prohibit any of the plaintiffs for a different reason, they would need to come to court and argue their case in front of the judge. Most were athletes outside the SEC.
As of now the SEC’s rule is null and Void.

You are badly missing the point. This is the NCAA, breaking a rule and getting a conference to enforce a rule that a judge said was not unenforceable..
If you don’t like NIL and all that that’s one thing. But this case is a clear win for the players that are affected.

This isn't about 4 players. It's much larger than that.
You can wish all you want but there is no way to put the toothpaste back in the tube.
NIL is settled as a principal. Revenue sharing with the college athletes is also settled.
The only way to creating some semblance of order is legislation granting some limited form of anti-trust for college sports governance.
The colleges and boosters themselves highjacked NIL and perverted it into "collectives" which are basically "pay for play".

I thought I read that with them being added to the TRO, any punishment they’d try to administer to a school would have to be defended in court.
It can’t be sort of null and void, it either is or isn’t.
