I really wish the courts would just allow college sports to go back to being college sports. I know this is an LSU board but these 4 players aren't worth it. Someone has to be able to enforce something

Well first, it’s not 4 players and this isn’t just about LSU.

Second, the NCAA could just have acknowledged their late 5 for 5 rule change has caused this. This could simply be an anomaly and it wouldn’t have risen to this.

But then again cooler heads don’t prevail and the NCAA probably wanted this to drive more pressure on congress.

It’s a whole new world with paying players. It ain’t going back to what it was, cramps. The leadership is resisting the change, but eventually the brand of college football will take a nosedive and some people equipped to come in with solutions will ascend to power.

Having depth at dline with all freshman currently starting. An all sec caliber guy certainly helps. Having no true tight end on roster, an all sec caliber tight end certainly helps. Third string defensive end is currently carpenter. A defensive end with national championship game experience will certainly help. They aren’t alone difference makers. Add them all together and they could plug the holes necessary to make the difference in close games.

I the courts, so long as the other people trying to do the same thing lose, no issues.

On the field, nah, I want LSU to win.

My guess there will be a statement from all the conferences tomorrow saying that due to the court order its out of their hands and these class of 2022 players will be able to play their final year of eligibility.

That's what should happen. I mean the SEC Sankey and all the other conferences just need to fall on the sword. They made a huge mistake and that's the easiest thing to do. We're talking one year and we're not talking about first round draft picks. We're not talking about trying to get Fernando to come back and play a quarterback at any of these schools. I mean just admit your wrong. Let it Go. You're not talk about first round draft picks. We talking about kids that were cut from NFL rosters are waived. They did not make NFL teams. I mean this is asinine

Are the commissioners prepared to go to court over this? We’ll see.

I’m just afraid that it’s going to cause too much of a distraction during a game week

These players aren’t worth the downside
