1. Did Brando go to LSU?
2. Did Sue Gunter get LSU in trouble with NCAA.

Hey - let’s name a court after a long time cheater. I bet that NOT A SINGLE season between 1977 and 1998, he didn’t have at least one player on his team where he didn’t cheat to get that player or keep him.

I am tired of this take when it comes to men's college basketball. Seriously, is it really cheating when you have to do what everyone other winning program was doing to win? Same goes for Will Wade.

You have big brands like Nike, Adidas, etc, etc going to AAU games scouting these kids and trying to persuade them to go to schools that represent their brand and their brands are on the most watched teams.. the "blue bloods" of college basketball.

The NCAA itself biggest payday is the NCAA tournament so even the NCAA has an interest in having the teams that are the most watched teams in the tournament. So if you are a Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, etc.. They can get away with anything. Look at what it took to bring Rick Pitino down. And how many chances he got? And he is still coaching.

So that whole cheating is BS. You think Coach K never "cheated"? Its funny how that whole Zion Williamson situation just went away.

The idea that they put his name on the court because he was charitable is hilarious

He never won a championship but he did a great job promoting Lsu basketball. And was known for charitable acts off the court. He built the program and did a lot for LSu and the community so I get it.
Gunter did neither.

Thats hilarious, gunter promoted lsu womens basketball and did many charitable acts as well. The current womens coach should have no bearing on the decision to include her or not include her. I dont want either of their names on the court, but she deserves it just as much as brown

Doesn’t matter. They’re just temporary placeholders for Kim Mulkey Court

She won’t get the court.

On the other hand, KMAC has a nice ring to it

A state rep should introduce a bill to name the governors mansion the Bobby Jindal Louisiana State Governors Mansion.

Brando is from Shreveport, used to be the sports anchor for channel 9, and then JP Sports… Why does he have any interest whatsoever in LSU?

That’s when I laughed at the Jeff marks guy today “you can’t measure dale in just wins and losses, you must factor in lives touched”

I listened to that interview out of curiosity of how they gonna paint it against gunter and for Dale. It was laughable.
Playing Dale as a victim for asking him to share the court was quite the take. And then he said no, but not because he didnt want sue to get recognition….lol

Bottom line, if you have to have a debate on whether or not someones name belongs on the court, then it doesnt. That goes for Dale and Sue. No one debates Bertman’s name on the field at alex box.

Regardless of whether Dale deserves the court recognition, here is the brutal truth. 2 months ago Collis and Will Tate brought Dale to lunch to tell him they were going to rename the court. He abruptly left the lunch and caught an Uber home. It’s a fact that Tate and Collis want to reimagine LSU; look no further than the Washington Post hit job on Baton Rouge and Brian Kelly. Consider Will Tate being one of the foremost authors on CRT and DEI in not just America but the World. What better way to bring down an old washed up white dude like Dale than to rename the court after a female lesbian. Yep I said it and it’s the truth.

Sue may deserve her props, but there are many other less controversial and less demeaning ways of recognizing her.

Coach K cheated with the best of them, how much did he pay Grant? Let's just say the name the player and it is very reasonable the amount of money is known.

But do not blame him as Kentucky, North Carolina etc had their money out there as well.

AAU ball was set up to feed the large basketball money schools.

The thing was it also allowed other schools to step on toes and get a foot in the door.

The NCAA was trying hard to protect its cash cow, but the rabbit was out of the hat by 1982 and many schools started to come out of no were with huge recruiting halls.

All Dale had to do is publicly endorse the share the name and his support from LSU fans would’ve gone up immediately. The muted response at the naming ceremony was telling. Dale getting Brando and Moscone to carry his water on the topic is only going to make people support Gunther’s name just to spite Brown.

Brown is publicly acting like a bitch again, reminding everyone he’s a narcissistic fool.

Just embrace the move, show some humility say you’d be honored to share the court and he’d generate the very respect he’s trying to force.

The focus should be on a totally new facility. The current PMAC has had a good run, but we are getting outclassed by the Jones’s facilities.
Build a new one.
