Never a done deal unless paperwork is signed
No I think they scheduled an interview to force Lane’s hand and Lane accepted
This is what coaches do to avoid looking rejected. Best guess is Lane accepted Florida

Chillax- recognize that Florida was in the same position as us last weekend and nothing happened. He’s not our coach unless he signs. Verbal agreements are useless

It’s not done until something is signed
LSU looks like a less attractive job today. We have a meddling governor . Look how smoothly things went at Penn St. we don’t have that stability here
Mandel is reporting what Lane’s agent tells him. He doesn’t know any more than we do

I was disappointed because we’d beaten him in the Independence Bowl and I thought we were getting a bad coach
Because LSU and Florida boosters are both being told by Lane’s agent that he’s ready to sign but is waiting to hear one last offer from the other side.
Why would Ole Miss leak this? This is Lane’s agent trying to get the best deal for his client
He knows his agent, not Ole Miss, started that rumor
No- this is a negotiating tactic by the agent. Ole Miss does not want it out there that there is a deadline. This makes Lane look like the good guy and allows this to play out until 11/28
Whoever posted that Sexton leaked the Ole Miss ultimatum- this theory makes perfect sense to me. He is milking this for all it is worth to get the best deal for Lane
Serious question, how much should I delude my scotch?

Don’t be dilusional you should never delude your liquor
