I think hiring Earley and keeping the roster for this season was an okay move. This roster could have been great even with no coach like some teams have done in the past in 1 year stints. It didn't happen. They wouldn't have been better with a better coach and a worse roster. See Mainieri at South Carolina. If they keep Earley after this season, they are truly idiots. Laviolette is gone anyway. Prager is gone anyway. Others are gone anyway. What's returning wouldn't be a national title contender with any coach. They need to cut bait and pay a real coach. Who cares if Grahovac leaves. Who cares if any of what's left leaves.

Fascination may be the wrong word here. Morbid curiosity maybe?

Texas A&M’s crash and burn this week is hilarious. They still have the 6th best odds right now to win the CWS on ESPN Bet and probably won’t even make a regional. theyll go on the list of worst preseason #1s of all time

The dad's strategy worked really well retaining the coach to keep the players this season, do it 1 more time

A Dad or player liking the coach enough to publicly stand up for him is a red flag? Parents and players don't make decisions like this because they don't always see the whole picture but I'd rather have guys that WANT to play for a coach the have a Dad tweeting "fire him or we leave!"

Here it is. He was with the Bucs,

That’s AWESOME!
He thought he could intimidate people and got rocked.
Looks like he didn’t learn his lesson though.

This past season proves it wasn't.

Maybe not. But they would've started the rebuild. They just delayed the rebuild by 1 year because they thought their roster was good enough to win it all with Earley. It wasn't. And now they've delayed their rebuild for nothing

They would be in a better position for next season and the next than they are going to be now, and their record this season with a proven coach and bringing in some of his players couldn’t have ended up much worse if at all than how this season has gone from the start to Missouri.

See Mainieri at South Carolina
He is overrated, and he was also out of baseball for a couple of seasons and only had experience with the first season of NIL which wasn’t even really in place for recruitment of incoming freshmen class for 21-22. That’s not the proven hire I personally would have made at South Carolina or at A&M for this season. He is having to learn how the game and recruiting works now with all NIL and it’s annual free agency.

Watching programs that can’t win titles implode is entertaining. Good luck squeaking into the postseason

Also not sure if he still is but at that time he was a College Baseball Coach in California at a small school. Cant remember if it was D-II or NAIA?

Still can’t believe UT stealing their coach and multiple assistants would completely cripple A&M to this degree.

I’ve seen some shite but my lord. This was rivalry has to be up there in the conference already.
