That sucks, but at least it’s not TJ.

TBH, this surprises me.

But that’s good news.

So, you don’t believe he needs surgery?

I don’t agree with that.

I do not, but they should bring in the best available like Eyanson, Jump/Holman. Just one guy to hedge for Friday nights.

Just rewatched his last AB, on the 2nd pitch, a foul ball, he grabbed where it looked like it may be a hamate injury. Struck out on the next pitch

How is he getting an extra year?
Is he getting a medical redshirt?

Like i said, i expect them to bring in 1-2 to compete, i just dont think its gonna be some big number of pitchers and the odds of pulling an arm that for sure will be better than schmidt/evans/moore is slim

this is such bull shite given some of the power arms Jay has brought over the years through the portal.

Curious to know why it’s automatic that Evans and Schmidt will make a huge jump. I can see Evans. Schmidt’s control has been an issue his entire career. I just don’t see the dawg in him.

sad for the kid and hope it turns out well - but in terms of the program right now who cares at this point?

Its not automatic, and at the sametime he improved a ton from last year, gasp, development.
He’s walked 22 in 50 innings, thats pretty good. Comments about his control are related to last year or only the last two outings

Walks aren’t the only thing that matters in terms of location. He missed middle middle constantly this past weekend. And paid the price. Dude needs to step it up.

Brown has had his right hand taped up the last few weeks. I’m assuming he’s been trying to play through the pain. Heard him talking to his parents after the Sunday game and he told them the pain is worse than ever. Great young man and Tiger. Hope the best for him.
