Maybe rantards will stfu with this idiotic statement.

Football coaches want to win championships. Brian Kelly is a god at ND and decided to leave his “Midwestern utopia”. They don’t care about anything else.

Let’s ride Brian Kelly

Something tells me Brian Kelly isn’t exactly the type to take advantage of cute little shops and restaurants even in “good” college football towns.

Brian Kelly will be fine.

I can see Louisiana and/or Baton Rouge being a “no” to some coaches. Louisiana has a horrible reputation and image in other parts of the country.

I really don’t think it is the coach who worries about where they are living it’s more the wife of the coach. When your attempting to hire a coach between the ages of 35 to 50 I think the wife has some built in prejudices of locations she would like to live. When you’re 60 with no kids left to raise does not interfere as much.

Use your head for something more than a hat rack!

Baton Rouge as a college town is one of the best options.

I think it’s coaches don’t want to raise families in BR. Still accurate

To be fair portions of BR are bad areas and the "leaders" of the State/Parish/City leave a lot to be desired. Certain aspects of our weather are not great. Having said that you toss 10m at me and I'll go live in one of the upper middle class enclaves in BR and feel pretty good about it.

Not too bad an image for the last three coaches to come and win national championships. Now Brian Kelly who has enough money already to live anywhere has chosen the fine state of Louisiana to live in. A no to some coaches but a yes to national championship winning coaches
