He was at destrehan. Had to use a cane and looked weak but at least was out on the recruiting trail.

covid was his fault. no spring practice was his fault. BLM was his fault. all those players quitting and opting out in 2020 was his fault. players admittedly quitting on him(see that SI interview that was posted here) was his fault because he did not put up with the false narratives and woke BS.
. He still could’ve survived all that and been a decent coach, but he fricked it up. It was on him. And you’re stupid woke and BLM comments just so show how idiotic you actually are.

Soley bc he convinced Burrow crawfish were good. It was lightning in a bottle and I’ll always remember it fondly.

wTF / are you stupid? Bill Asrnsbarger could coach circles around Saban on defense.
Saban quit bc he couldn’t cheat as much by paying players and barbers so freely. Kirby and him will eventually go down as the biggest cheaters in college football history

And what culture is that? Running the program into the ground and then quitting on the kids in the middle of the season? Chasing coheads and boozing when he should’ve been coaching? Shitting on his ex-wife and trying to pick up on boosters pregnant wives at gas stations. Dude‘s been a piece of shite his entire life. I’ll never get over the fascination and ball juggling of LSU fans and Coach Zero

all your BS has been debunked in earlier posts.

you think O knew a woman was pregnant(not showing) and a booster's wife? that is not even how the story went. you also believe any BS CNN tells you also huh?

dipshit.

O did something to you in junior high huh?

Give credit where credit is due, but don't pretend the bad did not happen in his career, because it did. Even at LSU.

Yep. The guy says he lost the locker room because he didn’t put up with woke BS, but part of being a good HC is being able to navigate those kinds of things without actually losing the locker room.

Every other coached in America had to deal with the same thing. Some more and others to a lesser degree. O failed in how he handled it and mostly in how he failed to properly replace assistants.

I don't know, O assembled the greatest of all time roster in CFB history and stream rolled everyone in 2019. Was it by luck, who knows, but Burrow came to LSU because of O and developed into an absolute powerhouse. I will never forget the wild ride of 2019 and the natty it ultimately brought to LSU. O deserves a lot of credit and his demise was self inflicted, but frick it, we got to see the GOAT CFB team absolutely destroy everyone in their path. Hats off to O!

There were self inflicted reasons for his downfall also.

Said about every coach ever fired, and over half that “retired”.

The only 2 coaches since Charlie Mac that this doesn’t apply to are Arnsparger and Saban.

He was at Easton Royal's game last night with George McDonald, walking with a cane. Getting around pretty well though.

Lawd! This very site in 2021, Coach O was Satan personified. Today he is the Prince of Peace.

Coach O is one of those people who the mold was thrown out after they made him. A very unique individual and definitely Louisiana through and through. He is the type of person who brings a "joy de vie" to our lives. We are lucky to have Ed in so many ways. He is one of those brash, larger-than-life characters with confidence and colorful showmanship. The people who love Ed for who he is are my kind of people. The people who hate Ed are .... well lets just say everyone is entitled to their opinion but I bet they live a dull life.

Add to that, a woke, fat, pos AD who nearly ruined the entire athletic department. Don't give me the crap that he brought in Jay Johnson and Kim Mulkey. He did not! Dee Dee Breaux and Shaq got Kim Mulkey, and Stephanie Rimf got Jay Johnson. Woodward wanted the coach from Florida.

BS! He didn't hire Woody, Carville, nor Edwards.
