The basic problem with the BB program is the failure of the institution to defend the coach that was fired and the sanctions that the NCAA applied to further gut the program and the obvious failure of good players and coaches to go to a program that throws employees under the bus.

Woodward's football hire was a disaster involving a name rather than football experience. His baseball hire was actually done through the work and assurances by Skip Bertman.
