Bama doesn't want to play LSU at night in Tiger Stadium; therefore, the SEC doesn't want the game at night. ESPN/ABC is more than happy to accommodate the SEC.

Doesn't matter the number will be high to start the game, that is all they care about.

UK Show the game on SEC+ for all I care. If you want to televise LSU home games, start rolling those cameras when the sun sets in the west or get fricked.

And lose your TV revenue?

I swear some of you have no idea.

I genuinely don’t care about the time.
Night games are not as hot as day games.
Day games I’m not as drunk as night games.

Both have their upside.

Then either you are dumb or Alabama is dumb, maybe both, because they have had very little trouble beating LSU in night games in Tiger Stadium. Alabama is 6-1 in night games @ LSU since 2012. That includes a 42-13 arse kicking by Deboer in 2024 that wasn't even that close (LSU got a garbage TD with 11 seconds to go). On the flip side, LSU is 3-1 in afternoon kickoffs (at either venue) since 2007.

Does the time of kickoff have that much of an effect on the outcome? Probably not. But to the extent it does nearly 20 years of data says Alabama should want to play LSU at night.

Someone doesn’t know about the tv contract. Everyone gets the same amount. It doesn’t matter if it’s on ABC, ESPN, SEC, SEC+. Every school gets the same amount.

You’re the someone who has no idea…

It’s the principle. We are at the mercy of the other member school’s traditions and we deserve our traditions to be honored too.

We play in Death Valley at night. Period.

I certainly understand that it’s an equal share, but the poster I responded to basically said….screw you if we can’t play at night.

So what would the result of the revenue share be if LSU decided they wouldn’t allow their games to be broadcast?

Can’t wait for this deflection.

It will not be dark the whole second half. It will be about 4-415 by start of second half. It ain't dark at that time genius.

Well said. It's like he has never been to a 230 game in TS before. Should know that, but being a casual fan he don't know shite.

I’m not bitching. I’m embracing it. Hell, it might stop the crowd from leaving early since it’s not so late. 74 high/47 low absolute best weather ever. And I will be bringing it just as much as a night game. Just a little less tipsy!

I am the one who said it and I said I don’t care if it’s broadcasted or not, but by all means put it on SEC+ if you want. That meets the TV contract requirements.

No deflection. Our traditions matter. The SEC protects traditions at other schools vehemently and we deserve ours to be respected and protected.

We play at night in Death Valley. Respect our traditions. The Networks will adjust, we shouldn’t.

The upvote to downvote ratio on this thread is probably an accurate representation of non-casuals to casuals on this site.
