I’m thinking our roster is about half of the way full so far.
We have no clue who all will be on this team.
Hopefully the transfers continue and LSU becomes an Arizona/LSU all star team

If the only reason people want to move tre off of 1b is because that’s not where he will play in the pros, then we could wait a year to do that.
Now if it’s because we have someone coming in that’s just as good but can’t play anywhere else on the field then it should be considered.
I just don’t see how you move him after all the runs he saved last year that even a good 1b wouldn’t save

It’s not dumb at all, actually. Sure, he makes great plays at 1st, but that’s not the kids natural position and it sure as hell isn’t where he’ll be at the next level. An outfield with Morgan, Crews, and Drost/Dugas? There wouldn’t be very many balls falling out there.

According to The Advocate, Berry was primarily a DH. Maybe he stays in that role?

Naptime,is bossiere ,or whatever his name is , coming, he’s a take if he wants in, I’m guessing? You said don’t expect many more,is that any, or many?

That's why I said I like him at DH. That's what he did last year.
Berry is transferring to LSU to play for Big Johnson. I don't think he would throw a fit if that's where his coach wants him.

I agree,plus, he’s still young. He could easily dh this season coming up and move to the field somewhere in his final two seasons.

He’s not coming as far as I know. JJ isn’t trying to rebuild the roster through transfers. I do expect a couple of pitchers transferring in

He’s transferring in for his money year. There are no “final two seasons”

He is giving the outfield a try this summer as it is a consensus that despite how good he is defensively at 1st, he will likely be in the OF in the MLB. MLB usually puts a bulky power hitter at 1st. So if TM does well over the summer in the outfield and wants to make the switch from 1st to the OF I'm sure CJJ will allow it especially with Berry coming in.

The more I think about it...this is a very real possibility imo.
1B or DH for Berry. Berry shouldn't be playing 3B over Doughty imo.

This is pretty much the consensus as to why people want to move him. Playing him in the outfield gives you the ability to play Doughty at 3b and Berry at 1B with Travinski or Jobert at DH. You can also get Merrifield in at 2b.

I think Berry slides to 1B and Morgan plays CF. Something like this:

CF: Morgan
LF: Dugas
3B: Doughty
SS: Thompson
2B: Merrifield
1B: Berry
C: Moller/Jensen/Bianco/Millazo
DH: Bianco (if not catching)
