Paul is on there. Little is on 2 days rest after throwing 3+ innings. It could mean he’s unavailable just for today or that he is going to get a start.

Thank you both.

Moffett is dinged up but expected in a couple weeks I think.

Five of the top six in the lineup:

Career Hits / Doubles / Home Runs / RBI

Dugas 121 / 24 / 29 / 105
Crews 180 / 27 / 41 / 116
White 86 / 12 / 27 / 75
Morgan 175 / 35 / 12 / 105
Thompson 121 / 19 / 15 / 66

Totals
683 hits
117 doubles
124 home runs
467 RBI

And the sixth guy hit a 467 foot HR his last game.

Too many other OFs would be called before him. Even for pinch running.

How bout we let white stand on 1b until the ball is hit?

I like the looks of that batting lineup.

Now let's see if it produces.

Morgan will play 1st and OF this year. It is in his best interest to do so, because he lacks ideal size and power for a first baseman at the next level. He also played some OF in high school and is an excellent outfielder.

Gotta get White in the lineup.

1st Base isn’t still 1st base. Morgan is elite but you can really get by with pretty good.

Nippolt over Injured white probably still makes this the best defensive lineup.

LOL at all the self proclaimed baseball experts that told us TRE WOULD NEVER be moved to OF to make room for both Jones and White’s bats.

Buncha amateurs around these parts. Right or wrong, even Ray Charles could see after last season that CJJ was 100% happy to sacrifice some defense to get more bats in the lineup. And now that we (hopefully) have a left side of the IF that's throwing accurately to 1st, it's more important to prioritize OF defense and let Jobert/Pearson DH once White is healthy

I wouldn't want to play us. That is a stone cold killer lineup. Even Joubert, Pearson and Milazzo can't get on the field.

That first five (and arguably seven) is a real murderer's row. And Skenes ... my my, I've got a feeling there could be something going on here ....

I like that they're letting Neal hit against LHs early on

Where is defense being sacrificed? At 1B?

Probably….yeah

Obviously this is only happening because of white’s injury

Zeb redshirted. Jay told him he thinks its the best decision and Zeb's throwing arm wasn't completely healthy. He's planning on putting on a few lbs also.
