The 2019 D got beaten up in Austin and did not heal up until just before Bama.

Also on the front half just was not prepared for the amount of time they had to spend on the field to get a breath/water or to coach, etc. Offense was so fast sometimes that in less than 5 minutes real time they already scored and defense needed to hit the field again.

After winning the natty Ed O gave zero fricks about anything other than chasing blonde MILFs at Gulf Coast beach bars. Woodward had to hire the next DC for him.

I don't know if you noticed but Ed O isn't looking great. May not be around much longer in fact.

He should go to USC. Riley needs a DC if they keep him.

Ed O is why he wanted to leave in the first place.

Didn't Ed consult with Aranda when he was trying to fix our defensive struggles?

Hmmm. I don't believe that to be true. No one puts together a team like the 2019 Tigers if their fatalistic friction between the HC and DC.

It took him a while to adjust to the new offense

yup. record breaking offense makes the defense play more snaps and ;posessions thus giving other side more chances to get yards and points. whod a thunk it??

and we had a lot of injuries and guys playing at 70% or less for a lot of that season.

true

I can promise you this.....the LSU staff has made contact with Aranda today.....just to make sure he knows we could be interested.

For 3.5 million, he would be interested in the future, all my opinion.

Just let Orgeron retire to a Men’s Club somewhere he can get unlimited lap dances.

He has become a caricature of a coach. Wobble on and let him be entertained by his bimbos.

Good I don’t want Dave Aranda back anyway how did Bo work out.

I’m sure you are one of those idiots that wanted LSU to hired Dave Aranda when we hired Lane Kiffin

Why are we hiring a DC?

There are a few P4 HC jobs that have already come open with more to come. I have no doubt that Baker's name is on the list for many of those spots.

I don't know whether or not he would be a good fit for LSU at this time but I don't think comparing him to Bo is fair. Completely different personalities.

Overall, the historic 2019 roster generated 14 total draft picks in 2020 (tying an all-time record at the time) and over 20+ starters from that team eventually found homes on NFL rosters.
K'Lavon Chaisson (OLB) — 1st Round, No. 20 overall (Jacksonville Jaguars)
Patrick Queen (LB) — 1st Round, No. 28 overall (Baltimore Ravens)
Grant Delpit (S) — 2nd Round, No. 44 overall (Cleveland Browns)
Kristian Fulton (CB) — 2nd Round, No. 61 overall (Tennessee Titans)
Jacob Phillips (LB) — 3rd Round, No. 97 overall (Cleveland Browns)

Rashard Lawrence (DT) — 4th Round, No. 131 overall (Arizona
Jacoby Stevens (6th round, 2021 by the Philadelphia Eagles) and linebacker Andre Anthony (7th round, 2022 by the Tampa Bay

Ed better concentrate on walking properly again. He almost died. He isn’t worried about Aranda.

He would return if CLK wanted him and made the right offer, he would take it. But there are other DCs that will be coming available all assuming Baker takes a HC.
