I’m not sure that game gets played in 2023 with the player empowerment movement.

I was at the Monsoon and watched as Penn St. flopped around on our players and as I watched the time run out I just shook my head. It was my two sons first LSU game and it sucked. Wet, Cold, LOST
the three worst things that can happen at a outdoor football game.

One of my least favorite games I've ever watched.

Yes. It was terrible. Only good thing about that game was the foot long corn dogs at the concession stand.

Was there & was miserable, and I live in Orlando. I can't imagine how bad it must've been to travel in for that game and have a long trip home to think about how awful that experience truly was.

I was there. It was awful in so many ways. Muddy, cold, wet, awful Stadium.

I remember thinking how at least it was cool to see Joe Pa…..then the joy of that was ripped away too.

La Miles was the king of losing bowl games against inferior teams.

I called in to work for that game. I was so ticked. (I was willing to give up the holiday pay but I figured the game would go ok. Ugh) I was living in Orlando at the time. I lost out on my holiday pay and the field had been used for high school games the entire week leading up to that bowl game.

I didn’t think I’d be able to make it due to work commitments. It was a last minute thing and I drove damn near non stop to make it just in time to meet my daughter there right before kickoff. What a pig slop waste of a trip. Penn State’s fans after the game made it that much more unbearable.

I was there. Funniest half time show ever. NO bands. Just 50+ workers who used large buckets to "pat down" the muddy grass field. Strangest thing I ever saw at a football game.

People near LSU quit watching to go watch the Caterie burn down. What a lousy day.

My first bowl game marching with TGBFTL. Pregame was a shite show, we were ankle deep in sod. They didn’t even let us march halftime, we just stood in place and played. It sucks that that was FBWs last game.

I remember there was another bowl game there about 5 days earlier. They tried to replace the field and it rained the entire time between games so the sod never took. They were pulling up full patches at halftime and putting them back down.

Bad day at the football field. Florida was colder that week than in the past 30 years

We went down to Florida with another family. We did the Disney thing with kids. We were supposed to go to game but decided to not go due to weather and just being worn out. Our rental had a game room and pool. We had a great time at home with kids.

I wasn’t there but I sure froze my arse off in Shreveport vs. Notre Dame at the Independence Bowl around 1996-97.

But yes. Les’s ground-and-pound should have thrived in that game. Amazing that this program did as well as it did, including two national championships, with two absolute morons and buffoons for coaches who were also pieces of shite as people.
