Similar for me. I've had my tickets since '97 and this is my last year. The last decade has been tough because we moved from Prairieville to Bossier...it has just gotten too time consuming. I feel blessed to have seen some of the greatest moments in Tiger Stadium history...still have some of the field from '97 Florida! Barely made that game because a cop arrested me for interfering with his investigation at the natatorium...load of crap!

Why are people down voting the OP's post? There was nothing derogatory or controversial in it. I don't get the rant sometimes.

Because if everyone doesn't have the same opinion, they're mad.

Have had the same seats since 1950 on the 50. Don't think I'm tired. But I continue to renew them each year..Through hell and high water..

Had season tickets from 2003 to 2016. After the first five years I started going to fewer games and the last three years I gave them to my sons. They didn't use them the final year so I gave them up. High definition TV and air conditioning along with my recliner made a convincing case.

I can empathize. Was in the same boat, ten years ago. For those wondering why somebody would start a thread about this, it is a big deal because it’s a part of your life. For me, I grew up in Tiger Stadium and going to games in the fall was just a way of life.

You’ll be back. My first game back was the Burreaux game in 2019 against the Aggies and it was GLORIOUS. If anything, it’s way better to pick and choose which game you want to see rather than have to sit through the Central Michigan’s and ULM’s every year. And you will be reminded why you stopped going on the cluster frick of traffic on the way out.

Because everybody has hundreds of thousands of dollars of disposable income to do something like that?

The home non conference games have to get better, many have also started to realize they're paying for 2-3 good games a year, then a bunch of crap.

The current model's addiction to having these rent a wins has to change. Charge me more for less games. I don't care. I'd rather see one great non conference matchup than 3 G5 or FCS schools.

Completely get it. Step away for a few years and you'll recharge the battery with a new perspective for home games and season tickets again. I've been in your shoes before especially after Les shite the bed against Arkansas on the road and the pigs won their first SEC game (actually shut us out) in like 2 years. But I came back just in time to see the GOAT #9 as I had to get my P&G fix. It's in our blood DNA.

I am in the exact same boat. I have had season tickets for decades and attended almost every home game over that period. It is basically a three day commitment for every home game since I am now traveling from central Mississippi. I am getting less motivated every year, but Tiger stadium is still my favorite place to be on Saturday nights in the fall. Eventually, we all have to give it up just as our fathers and grandfathers did….but I’m not ready yet.

I’ve been considering dropping season tix. Combination of factors from time expense, to financial expense, to political direction at LSU. Will see what happens between now and next spring.

I got to see the 2019 SEC Champ game, Peach Bowl, and National Champ game with my dad because of priority points, so things like that are on the other side of the scales.

ive had tickets since 1982. This will probably be my last year. Its mainly cause im older but I just dont see the administration putting the fans first. Things need to change.

I attended every game home and away for over a decade. The political wokeness of Woodward the SJW has shown me better ways to spend my time and money.

I hear Chicken is woke. From what I understand, posting here, or even logging on to read stuff, you are funding his woke agenda.

I'm only telling you this because I am thinking of you and you principles and morals. You should leave and never come back just to show him.
