How about we pause that idea until after this hire....

re: Source on Lincoln Riley

The only way Scott Woodward is hunting, smoking cigars and sipping whiskey is if it’s Lincoln Riley or someone better....
I wonder who Florida is going to go after in three years?...
That’s not the only reason it could happen. LSU is typically in the top five in every recruiting cycle regardless of who the coach happens to be. So in comes a coach that is in the playoff just about every season and has coached up two Heisman Trophy winning quarterbacks. He can basically refill the...

re: If we miss out on Riley and Aranda....

I don’t know why so many people are completely convinced that Billy Napier is the next Saban. LSU is not in the current position to risk missing on Napier. That’s why Scott went big game hunting for a coach that has done it at a high-level. Why is this so difficult for some of you to understand?...
Haha The ‘Ol 96er!! Eat that gristle and fat, Chet!...
Think about it. There hasn’t been an announcement because the current target is actively coaching a program. If it were Petersen, we would already know and he’d be wearing purple and gold....
They need to carry Ed to the stadium in that thing on Saturday....
I think Woodward was way out in front of all of this....
I wouldn’t doubt it. Lincoln Riley got his shite pushed in by LSU with a Heisman quarterback. And he now realizes how much damage he could do in Baton Rouge....
I would only be OK with Aranda if they struck out on Lincoln Riley....

Jordi Culotta has been licking Napier’s balls for weeks now. It’s probably a bunch of alter accounts....

re: Assurance from the top

I mean, the overall frustration we experienced through the les miles and coach O years and people want to roll the dice for the third time instead of going out and throwing all the money at a big fish that we know will make this program what it should be. Those are the type of people who voted fo...
I don’t know about that, but it definitely brings out the worst opinions that I’ve ever heard in my life....

Define well received, because there’s a bunch of dip-shits on this board who think you go after Billy Napier when the AD has a blank check in his hand....
What you’re seeing on this board is mostly a generation of kids who want everything right now and have no patience whatsoever. They are the ones who stomped their feet in the toy store until their parents bought them whatever would shut them up. Think I’m wrong? Count the down votes from the ones...
You can wish for Aranda all you want, but Scott Woodward isn’t waiting for him. He will fall back on Aranda, perhaps, if Lincoln Riley doesn’t accept the offer....
Riley is the golden goose. Anyone who’s cheered for the Tigers long enough knows that offense has always been their Achilles’ heel. Meanwhile, the defense is top 20 with their eyes closed. I mean, they would have two undefeated national championships if they had any kind of offense in 2011. Lincoln ...

I’m just here to say frick ESPN. Their entire product outside of sports broadcasts has been complete garbage since they became an arm of the social justice movement....
