@State
Florida
@Arkansas
Vandy
@Tennessee

I’ll be happy with any kind of winning record first half of conference play. Second half of the year we should be able to finish strong. 9-6 to start, 11-4 to finish

20-10 overall and national seed

Do we not have neither Texas nor Oklahoma? Aren't they in the SEC starting 2024?

Hell yea. The only time my kids are going to Minute Maid is for LSU baseball.

2024 fall sport, 2025 spring sports

They join the conference in July 2024 officially

Notice no in-state road games this year

That makes me kind of sad… we should be rewarding the best few in-state teams with games at their place every year. It’s not like 1 or 2 will kill our national championship program

Appreciate u posting the schedule as an image.

Can anyone confirm my assumption that Florida, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee are among the top teams? If so, that's quite an interesting March-to-April gauntlet but as Coach Jay has said, every game is focused on like a playoff game.

What another great coach he is for LSU. They'll need to make a second Intimidator billboard in a few yrs.

In what I'm sure is going to be a talking point that will be beaten to death, VMI has a lefty named Trey Morgan on their roster.

All four of those teams will be Omaha contenders with legitimate National Championship aspirations.

We hired us a coach that would make the Intimidator relevant again. He is doing that.

Let him make his own schedule. Trust me, he knows what’s best for LSU.

It’s football season and this is why we can’t get over the hump and be elite anymore…baseball is a filler sport

What exactly are you suggesting the baseball program do to get the football program up to their level?

Thanks.

Four games in Houston looks sweet.

After Alex Box, what are the next best baseball stadiums in LA?

I've been to ULL, SELU, Nicholls, Tulane, and Centenary.

I haven't been to ULL since the renovation though, but from TV it looks pretty nice and having been to Turchin I'm inclined to give the Cajuns the benefit of the doubt and rank them above Tulane.

Of the ones I've been to I'd say:
1. ULL
2. Tulane
3. SELU
4. Nicholls
5. Centenary

Thanks ProjectP2294.

I know Skip used to make it a point to play away games at in-state schools. My guess is part of the reasoning was to market LSU baseball to the state.

No real need to do that now. But it's really a treat for Tigers in Texas when we play here.

Wondering if there were any acceptable neutral sites in LA, e.g., Shreveport area that could host a series say between us and TCU or DBU or round Robin format.

Jay Johnson shouldn’t care one bit about the broadcast camerawork. I think he needs to continue to play a couple of in state road games each season. There are a lot of Tiger fans in all parts of the state. I don’t want a player from Lake Charles or Sulphur to fall in love with Texas A&M because they play in Lake Charles every bit as often as LSU. Take the show on the road, it helps the players to lock in for a midweek battle when facing a capacity crowd at Nicholls, or Northwestern State.

You know what broadcast never fails? Chris Blair and Bill Franques will be there to bring you the action.
