Ha! Ha! Bumped into him in Dallas at the end of April or early May. He stopped me, thought I looked familiar. I was wearing a nice (Rhoback) purple and gold shirt. I’m a nobody and wasn’t sure who he was but as soon as he said his name I was like, okay. He’s coaching at UTSA right now. Got a picture somewhere around here.

Jeff does more than assist in locking down Nola. At this point he’s a national asset.
Jeff played a role in us recruiting and landing Burrow. That alone says a lot, amongst the other relationships he’s built. He rose through the program as AT rose, and this seems like AT wanted his guy and went and got him.

Does seem like theyre letting Thomas really have reign to build out a "front office" staff. Assistant GMs and player development/personnel staff. I mean some of this has already existed but really seems like they're organizing sort of a cohesive executive operation over football in a professional style operation.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen LSU kick this much offseason arse. It’s great to see.

Petitto's info seems to have been scrubbed from the OSU website.
And prior to him (2024), they had three different directors of player personnel in three years.

With NIL and the way A&M and Ole Piss have been handling their spending and the Transfer portal plus college ball looking more like NFL, LSU needs guys to handle the business aspect of that
Guys that have experience with 18-21 year old football players and the amount of money they are going to receive. Also dealing with the system to fund them.
