This is where my thoughts initially go to as well. Get a free one on the house, and the next can only be done with a HC change.
Y’all are so weird. I’m starting to believe this is an anti LSU board.
Why do we want a guy like Weston to enter the portal? He’s a guy that I want to see play next year with better coaching.
Jackson didn’t need to impress much. We were pretty solid at CB. There was no need to rotate another guy in (even though it was Jackson who was like your CB4). We had great things. People not playing because we had great things shouldn’t be a negative. Jackson was a great portal get last year.
I don’t like it. It’s some loser shite to announce people who are already on scholarship to return. We don’t have to do everything thats being done across the country to fit in.
Aaron Anderson was also hurt all the time. Guess Hankton is at fault there?
Ramos was 24/29 this year. His best year as a Tiger.

But continue.

Guys. We had 3 scholarship RBs. All 3 weren’t big guys. If one gets hurt, an already physically limited group gets that much more limited. We had to have a RB by committee approach. The season is over. Let it go.
Yes. And the “unconventional” hire was that group of people’s way to flex that muscle. Games are won on field and not by staff obviously; but he’s assembled as good a staff as one could hope.
THE D LINE WAS NOT MUCH BETTER. Stop trying to cover for Kyle. He could have gotten them better, maybe. But we started hearing about how he was gonna not return midway through the season. The guy packed it in. Dom McKinley is our most physically gifted player, and he was asssssssssssss the whole year. The DTs weren’t consistent at all.

Now, back to the subject. You can’t be a liability and expect to continue to play. Berry needs to hold on to the damn ball. That is not coaching. That’s want to. Stop making excuses for these guys. He has a problem that he needs to correct.
The staff that Austin had built after the wave of hires headed into fall camp were elite. They were probably just a season too late. I didn’t have a problem with him being on the headset either…as GM we could only hope that he was pushing for change with his boss, which ended up happening.

Ole Miss front office staff only built one of the most impressive programs over the past 5 years or so in CFB, so I don’t understand why it’s hard to see why we were intentionally raiding that stash. Austin may not have built that entire thing, but his thumb prints were all over it.
I don’t agree with the take that our RBs looked timid. I do like the Kevin Smith hire a lot. I also like the inside WR coach. He’s been around Weiss and Kiffin’s offense for a while. He spent time in Louisiana too at ULL under Billy, so he should atleast still remember a few of our hot bed geographies in the state.
Letting someone get 70 plays is not some type of noble thing to do. Like, don’t be dense.

Ummm, he’s a bitch. I’d tell him to a face, and as a competitor he knows that he’s supposed to run through the tape. Someone who doesn’t, does not escape the ridicule of bad decisions. Save me the “you wouldn’t say it to his face” stuff. That’s not how work is done. He quit.
this can be called a lot of things, but I'll refer to it as being a bitch! He bailed on us. Keep this loser away from our program.
As one of the posters earlier said, not many teams were happy about their line play this year. Probably a mixed bag of reasons. The NFL isn’t in the business of employing bad people, so my opinion was always that we had the talent, just couldn’t execute. That’s on coaching for sure, which is gonna boil down to Sloan and Davis.

Jeff Martin is still on staff. That’s a win
We turned to shite when Denbrock left. Kelly was bad at coaching hires, and we repeatedly were in the position of needing to hire coaches after the season. Of Davis was elite as a recruiter and bad as a coach and that was valued, he should have been supplemented with better analyst help. The only failure in the room I see is BK.
Played the worst. Probably has the biggest upside of them all.
Hometown kid from Scotlandville (Joseph) played unconscious and made it a game, until he didn't. He had 34. Scotlandville has had the best program in the state pound for pound the past 20 years.
