He left, so what. But it’s the way he did it that still sticks. Waited until LATE in the coach hiring cycle to announce was going to scratch his NFL itch (before failing miserably at that, because everyone gets an equal number of draft picks) so we miss out on Meyer and are stuck with Lester, who only won a NC with Saban’s players. Then every week he would be on there lobbying for his team, costing us the 2011 title when we should have played OSU instead of a rematch, having already beaten Bama once at their place. So frick him and frick E$PN for rigging this shite every year for ratings. They can both go suck a bag of dicks!

Watching that series should’ve made you realize how he revived our program if you didn’t already. Now that he’s retired I can give him his flowers.

It’s definitely plausible that he could have won 7 or 8. He won 6 at Bama, and he would have had an additional two years at LSU (2005 and 2006). Plus, he already had one at LSU.

ESPN spent money on the propaganda piece….errrr….”documentary” on Saban. They are going to push it.

Guy was a very good coach who found a way to cheat the system and had the conference on his side to do so. End of story.
