That punting on 4th and 1 was the right call. Kentucky had no timeouts left and a shaky kicker. If you want to blame someone, blame Baker and that swiss cheese defense. How TF you give up 35 pts to Kentucky?

Ultimately it falls on Lane…but this one is really on Baker. Let them go 50 yards in 50 seconds to tie the game. Let them score on the last play of the half. Let them score in OT. Gave up the point conversion.

My thing is, if you're going to play prevent defense after the punt you might as well just go for it and play prevent defense from mid-field. Woulda made no difference.
