So basically the commits he has are from 5 for 5 players. I could see that but what if it doesn't pass

Wish we could just scoop up zipper and miller, however no clue if their numbers are unreasonable. Miller showed short stints of great athleticism but other stints of turnover central. Zipper still needs more time but could fine tune his range and add some weight for a quality off the bench.

Certainly. There are still plenty of players out there. The appropriate question is will we be good or competitive? There are still good players in the portal, but also, the transfer portal is not the only place we get players. I’d be patient. It is a bit abnormal to have so few players right now, the appropriate time to panic would be if the roster was filled out with bad players. We currently have zero bad players.

Shea Dixon said it's the players waiting to announce and he thinks you'll get some clarification by tomorrow night on some guys. That's been said quite a few times though. Who knows what they're waiting on, but people who have a proven track record of being dependable have all been pretty consistent amongst each other this entire time. There are some things that are understandable, guys like Graves who are weighing the league vs returning to college. Is he the only guy like that they are chasing? It's been said there will be some international flare to the roster, and Wade has spent quite a bit of time recently out of the country, those guys aren't in a rush to announce. There's speculation (not necessarily an LSU thing, but in general) that some guys are waiting to finish their semester at their current school before announcing their next destination.
So on and so forth.

There are 4 pools waiting right now
- 5-5 players
- draft entries who will withdraw (May 27 is the deadline)
- overseas players
- NBA sub league players with eligibility left
Bottom 2 groups can decide anytime before the semester but portions of those groups could be waiting on what happens with the first 2.
