Also not surprising, that’s been the underlying rumblings for a while now. It’s just the chicken little crowd that hopes Wade fails that are the drivers behind any freaking out.

I am self proclaimed as one of the biggest idiots on the board. If any of us knew anything we would be making money doing it. It would just be nice to focus on what is happening with the team now than bringing up the dark times again and again and again. I get that the conversation has it's place in this thread. But, not to this degree.

The Wade vs McMohan thread idea on the rant was actually perfect. Plenty of people still want to argue the situation but clogging up this thread isn’t the best place.

Of course they’re the loudest and trying to create panic to attack Wade with but there are casuals who are genuinely wondering what’s going on. I think we’ve talked about it before but what the NCAA and the courts have done this summer is just idiocy. Everyone knew this was coming and there was no plan to organize or implement any of it so we get this crap. On top of that the media coverage for college hoops is far inferior to Football so the info is limited which leads to constant theorizing over what could happen among the public.

Kiffin even chimed in recently - not specific to basketball - but the 5 for 5 after the portal closed. He didn’t quite go in hard, but it was easy to tell he was saying the NCAA has no clue as to what they’re doing.

They’re a dying entity jumping back and forth between money grabs and giving the illusion that they still want some kind of rules. In reality the NCAA isn’t paying much attention, they’re letting the courts settle everything. It’s that neglect and laziness that’s led to this mess.

Exactly and it started a while ago. I can’t remember the poster, but remember a discussion a while back with a poster that said the NCAA did all it could to prevent the NIL/portal mess. I thought he was joking at first.

The NCAA caused all of this by dragging its feet trying to milk as money as they could instead of building some sort of framework for the changes that were inevitable. So they lawyered up and fought to the end, all the while knowing they had almost zero chance of winning - and they’ve been doing the same since. Completely worthless organization.

Will Wade admits to wrongdoing, fans still think he didn't do it.

We know he did it. That's why we love him so...

He was willing to do what the rest of the Blue Bloods were doing, and put his money where is mouth was.

That's how much he loved us.

We do not, AFR about 15 minutes ago said that Schroyer said they were and that he and Wade both told him the roster is full. He said Monday well officially know but that’s MM so take what he says how you will but he just said this on his show.

They may be enrolled, and maybe LSU hasn’t announced officially due to the court cases. I suppose we’ll know on the 24th. I was just speculating about other options, which is why I asked about the 2nd Fall accelerated semester. That might give them time to enroll, but I’m confused about deadlines to be admitted which happens before enrollment.

But where would we get that info other than media or if you worked in admissions? Like I said earlier we don’t know, the only recent news I’ve heard was today from someone who isn’t exactly a pillar of truth.

I have a friend who works at LSU he was able to check who is enrolled. Everyone is enrolled except for Santos. The other internationals, RJ, and Clark are all on there

I heard Santos is the question because his clock will run out during the season sometime and they’re hoping for some grace on the waiver. Have you heard anything like that?

Are you still claiming that Mark Few, Tony Bennett, and Jay Wright ran programs that provided zero illegal benefits to the players and their families that they signed? You did describe ther programs as being run CLEANLY. You also told me there were others winning big and doing the same. Can you release any more names? All before and while big bad Wade was PISSING all over the NCAA rulebook in BR, right?

They did, do you have any information to prove otherwise? You only have hearsay and your own assumptive opinion. As stated before, the shoe companies, boosters, etc work these deals under the table with parents, uncles, cousins etc. In many cases, the coaches don’t know. The kids make a visit, go to church locally on Sunday, and lo and behold there’s backpack under the pew with $100,000 cash in it. True story, bet you can’t guess who the coach was….

Anyways..

So back to my point, you can’t prove any of those coaches knew about any of it, but Will Wade actually admitted it, so you’re not really living in reality you’re living in your own fantasy world that bases your entire argument on something you can’t physically prove. Definitely not realistic.
