Imagine if the draft was still during Regionals/Super regionals all meanwhile the portal was open. Coaches would lose their minds
On the flip side, if the draft wasn’t moved back, we have Kade Anderson for another year.

What’s Torres’ eligibility look like? He got another year or using this as draft bullshite?

Did I do something wrong? Sorry if I did, I’m new to all this

Yes. Rule is you have to post pics of the sister.

Yeah, KR posted that Torres is out of eligibility.

With 34 man roster gonna have to hit on your portal guys otherwise it’s a wasted roster spot

Nah, when they moved the draft they made the uniform date for draft eligibility. Under the old rules it was age 21 within 45 days of the last round. He would have fallen within that very easily.

not true. there is a hard cutoff now (aug 1). Anderson is born july 6.
The previous rule also granted eligibility for anyone born within 45 days after the draft date

Honestly Stanfield doesn't always seem to get the best read off the bat, but he has enough speed that he usually makes up for it. I think Curiel is probably better at tracking balls, and he should be able to improve his arm in the off-season
Maybe so. We seem to have good placement and play deep when needed so maybe it’s a non issue. I just feel he has run down several balls easily that we may take for granted. Maybe Curiel gets to them as well.

Speaking of that, which of our high school signees (if any) are draft eligible sophomores?

I think just Dean Moss and Zion Theophilus

Those two and Patrick based on their PG profiles.
Also of note, Ebel isn’t 18 yet.

Just wanted to note in here since he is still listed as on here being that he signed with us, but Marshall Louque is going to LSUE to play a position next year while he recovers from Tommy John he just had in like April/May. Supposedly his spot is still available with LSU next year. So this is probably one way you are going to see things handled with the 34 roster limit.

Tanner Thatch is interesting
looks like he is just looking for draft leverage but he hit 27 HR a year ago vs 12 this year.
thought he’d test the portal last year

Forgot about Patrick
This is one of the best OF classes in a while if they can get he & Moss on campus

Project or someone, can you post the summer assignments for all the players again when you get a chance?
Posted on 6/26/25 at 4:13 am to Bab0711
I just checked a few leagues and didn't see some names I would expect. For instance, Cade Arrambide is supposed to be playing with Chatham in Cape Cod but he's not listed on the roster. Will take some time to dig through the rosters for the 80+ leagues. So far I can just put this out there...
Cape Cod
Chandler Dorsey (Hyannis)
Devin Sheerin (Falmouth)
I suppose most summer league rosters just haven't been updated since we went deep in the CWS

I just wanna say a big THANK YOU to all the posters who bring insightful information into this thread. I used to be obsessed with football/football recruiting but all of that passion goes to baseball now. I wouldn’t know where the hell to get my fix without this thread.
