He’s getting hit pretty hard. Had some early misfortunes with balls hit with shifts on that got through the infield. I can’t imagine they keep him in much longer.
My Teammate from college is the head coach at Auburn. I’ll be pulling for them to win it all.
I would vote for her for President if she would run! I feel like she’s one of the very few principled politicians.
I think this system, in real time, can train the umpires to call the game better.

If we just ban liberals from gun ownership, the mass shootings will basically disappear.

Their pitching is their strength. If Jayden continues to throw strikes, they may be tough to beat.
I would be more worried about him tearing an ACL doing that.
Left fielder took a bad route to that ball. Had she taken a drop step and then taken a half moon shape curve route to that ball vs a banana route, she likely catches it. It’s one of the frustrations I have with watching Beth coached teams. Outfielders, outside of the CF all take poor routes to balls deep over their heads to the right and to the left.
I somewhat agree. You have to find different ways to win if the traditional ways aren’t working. For instance, I never see Jay play catch up ball. This means taking until you get a strike late in the game when you’re down. I also don’t see him playing small ball. Try stealing more or bunting for hits. Pulling the infield in early in games when it feels like the game is getting away from you and the other team has runners in scoring position. If you have pitchers that can’t throw strikes, don’t keep running them out there. I know Jay didn’t just stop knowing how to coach but his inability to adjust his game day coaching style has been alarming.

Even in his championship seasons, I felt like he left a lot on the table regarding the teams capabilities and the ability to score more runs. He just had overwhelming pitching talent that surpassed any offensive deficiencies.
Just think how many more K’s they could have had if they cut down on the walks.

Down by 5, relief pitcher in, and Curiel isn’t taking until he gets a strike. That’s inexcusable!
The jury clerk played way too big of a role in the first case. She was influencing the jury by coaching them on things they should look for. Even one juror said she was influenced by the clerk. The stuff she did was illegal and didn’t afford a fair trial to the defendant. I have no doubt that another jury will find him guilty, as it should be but this decision was justified based on the jury tampering that was done.

He was recently promoted to AAA

Isn’t he able to come back if he wants to?
Might as well bring in the guy that is either going to walk in the winning run or beam the next batter to bring in the winning run!

Has anyone ever wished a team would just score one more run to help stop the pain? :rotflmao:
This season is obviously a loss. Jay needs to wear out the road trying to find players that want to bleed purple and gold, pitchers who can throw strikes, fielders that can field, and a catcher that can block balls in the dirt.
Yeskie isn’t getting fired. That narrative needs to stop. He’s taken 4 different teams to the college World Series and 3 teams to the finals winning it twice. He didn’t just stop knowing how to coach pitchers. For some reason, two of our main pitchers we were counting on have regressed this year, Williams and Rizy. We haven’t had the top line starters that we have had in past years and our catchers can’t block pitches in the dirt, leading to too many wild pitches.
