I’m an LSU fan and I’m here to say that pretty much all of what you say is true! The way our defense was playing, no way should we have not gone for it on 4th and 1 to end the game.

That last drive by Kentucky, there was a lot of hands on the hips. Not sure we will have the endurance in overtime. I hope I’m wrong.

That’s an SEC rule. I would think anything could be subject to change if legally ruled upon, especially if the players win again in court. Maybe they won’t be able to play but I bet they win a big monetary award.

LSU has played one bad half of football, has currently the number 1 offense and defense in the SEC, and this jackwad has them outside of his top 12.

Times are different and Saban got out before the parity of college football ruined his legacy. He operated with an advantage for many years and his roster and football games proved it.

Defensive scheme was bad the first half. When it’s 3rd and 7 and you have a defender playing 12-15 yards off of the receiver, that’s bad. The second half scheme is what we should have played the whole game. If we could have neutralized Chambliss by 25%, we win.

Pickett is a shutdown corner. The long ball in the first over Pickett and Benefield wasn’t on Pickett. He came off of his player to help with that play. The only thing I recall Pickett giving up was some short passes in front of him and that is a scheme thing.

The LSU defense is nasty good. The only way ole Miss wins is if Chambliss has over 100 yards rushing.

All they had to do was grant anyone in the 2022 class a waiver to play, even if they signed temporary pro contracts but were ultimately cut. Now they created this big shite show for themselves just because of their disdain for one person, Lane Kiffin.

If I was Baker, I would stay as DC. He is at the top of his profession and highly respected as one of the best DC’s in America. He and Lane can build a monster at LSU. Unless he becomes a Kirby Smart type of head coach and gets a P5 job, his salary is as much if not more than he would get paid at some other small school.
