I am looking to get some to mount outside. They will have WiFi. Any suggestions?

I've had Eufy battered powered Wifi security cameras for 7 years and they are awesome! Just ordered the E42 PTZ cameras to upgrade my system and homebase.

Blink Outdoor 4. Doesn't get any easier.

That’s what I have and it’s super easy.

Why not just do hardwire or POE. POE dont even need a junction box

I swapped from Blink to Reolink Solar and POE. The Reolink solar cams blow the blink out of the water.

Do they make you pay to see the pictures or is it free?

I've had Blink for 4 or 5 years. If you get decent lithium batteries they will last around 2 years before you need to change them. My only gripe is that the detection range isn't very far. You do have to pay a monthly subscription fee to be able to save videos and such.

I have the Eufy battery cameras and I installed solar panels on them, recharges 24x7. Works great.

I use the ReoLink Tilt and zoom cameras with solar panels. I am slowly replacing all of my cameras with these. There are several different versions. My next one will be the dual lens one.

I wouldnt say that reolink has exceptional quality but the ai detection and flexibility is great.

I have 4 Reolink Argus Pro 4 WiFi solar powered dual lens cameras that I pole mounted on fence T posts. Three of them form a triangle around the house (each about 50 or so' from the house). I have complete view of the perimeter of the house. The fourth camera overlooks our jon boat, water bikes, and canoe scattered across a couple of hundred feet on part of our lakefront. I have a bunch of other wired EZVIZ, and Wyze cameras on the house facing away, plus some pole mounted battery operated critter cams that I move around.

Another vote for Eufy, I've had 2 go bad on me but considering I'm running two properties and probably 20 cameras that's acceptable and I do consider the 1080 ones disposable at their price point. At the barndominium I can get over 100 yards from the base reliably. I'll be putting a temporary one out tomorrow to cover the oak tree in the pasture for the pigs.

I don't know anything about Blink, but I can vouch for Reolink. They are excellent pieces of equipment.
You can set up an NVR, and they don't require you to subscribe to anything to use their app to view your cameras.
They also make a doorbell camera. If I didn't already have one, I would have gone with their PoE version (I'm on PoE for my cameras).

I like the bang for the buck, though.

Do you have to use the solar panels? The area I am putting them is not exposed to the sun.
Do you have to pay for a service to view the pics or video taken?

I get the video from my Blink cameras on my phone. I don't pay a cent to anyone. The Blink cameras use batteries. I get between two and three years out of a battery. The battery usage is a function of how sensitive you set the motion detection and how long you set it to record.
