Tri’s
Chest
Legs
Traps
Abs

I get sore on all of the above. Feels great the day after knowing I’ve torn the micro fibers.
Why can’t I do this with biceps?
Lift heavy, to failure or hypertrophy. Neither works.

Switch up my exercises?
I’m doing barbell curls, Incline curls, high cable curls, hammer curls. Any tips?

Ditto, I’m never sore after working biceps. No matter what I do too. They’ve grown and are nice so I’m not complaining

I think it has to do with biceps just being a small muscle group, and it takes a ton of work for them to be sore. I usually only get sore when I take a break from lifting all together. As long as you get a good pump it doesn’t really matter.

I’m 40 and one of the only ways I’ve ever been sore from bicep workouts is when doing a BodyPump class. Especially if it’s been a full month or so since the last class.

When I go heavier or even do a bunch of pull-ups, it doesn’t compare to Pump soreness.

Do 100 barbell curls in as few sets as possible. 1:00 min break between sets. You’ll be sore the next day.

Slow your rep down in both directions

Being sore might not be the best indicator of a good workout. What you're doing might be a good enough stimulus without getting sore. If you're looking to get sore though, then try the above mentioned comments with slowing the rep down and reducing rest times. Maybe that will help.

Probably due to all the flexing in the mirror you are doing. Lol

I usually have the same problem, but lately I've been really sore. I do wide grip ez bar preacher curls nice and slow. Pause before lockout and come back up. I do one arm rope curls sort of like a hammer curl. I finish with straight bar drag curls. Go until I cant go anymore (usually 20-25ish reps) then push out about 5-10 more reps where I'm almost screaming. It is working.

Every now and then I do dead arm hangs. Just hang in the pullup position as long as possible. Yea it hurts.

I get sore if I throw in some waiter curls and 21's along with the above-mentioned techniques.

Hypertrophy sets with biceps would work. Slow on the negative side of the exercise.

I like to finish with starting in a curl position on a pull up bar and trying to hold it as long as i can for 3 sets. It sucks.

This does actually work very well especially as a change of pace workout
Here’s a decent read on the subject matter

I’ve found time under tension works better than going “heavy” for biceps exercises. Before a labrum tear, I was able to strict curl 225 for reps. No more of that shite for me

The current strict curl world record is 249 lbs. No way were you doing 225 for reps. Perhaps instead of strict curling, you just meant curling with relatively decent form.

Why are you looking to get your biceps sore?

Soreness has absolutely zero evidence and correlation in constituting a good workout.

Do a bunch of leg less rope climbs

You arms will be sore arse frick or you will hurt yourself falling off the rope when your arms and back are smoked
