other than during the intra-workout window and then only certain carbs.

Which carbs do you use during training? Cyclic Dextrin or Waxy Maize? I'm assuming not dextrose or maltodextrin.

Totally agree. Unless one is lactose intolerant, or has a RARE allergy to casein protein (since milk protein is 80% casein), there is not anything bad about milk.

It's ingested carbs via liquid, bottom line. I recommend staying away from liquid calories in general.

I've thought about trying that. But it's pretty expensive.

yea it is, I dont use a ton though and I do custom formulas from truenutitrion.

for me I do a biotest plazma knock off from TN made with 65% HBCD and 35% peptopro with a couple of the boosters added in. I add the following bulk powders to it and drink 2 scoops preworkout, 2-3 intra

5g creatine mono
3g beta alanine
5g citrulline malate
2g glutamine akg
3g Betaine HCL

if I am deep in a dieting phase and not feeling a pump I will add glycerol mono and agmantine sulfate.

post workout I have 60g hbcd and 20g or so of peptopro using TN competitive PWO formula. I only have PWO liquid carbs on days I will lift the next. so for me thats on sunday and wednesday as I lift again on Monday and thursday. No need to have recovery carbs if I am not lifting the next day.

if i am feeling run down and sore I will add 2-3 servings of a biotest mag-10 knock off from TN and add in 20g of glutamine for a few days until i feel better.

overall i am not a big fan adding sugar to your diet outside of the intraworkout area and even then it should be held to only certain ones and to only what is needed to improve or maintain performance.

All for eating carbs if they sit well with you and you do not have insulin resistance and especially if trying to gain weight, but not a big fan of adding sugar, especially in liquid forms just to do it.

they are a whole saler and have the best quality that you can find verified by third party testing LINK

if you go with bulk powders for supplements, peptopro, hbcd then get unflavored and order the biotest liquid flavorings.

for protein powder i suggest the teamskip blend.

Y'all take things to the extreme sometimes. It's not pure sugar and it's not bad for you. It might not fit your profile or you could have something better but it isn't bad for you. The things y'all say, others will read. Be mindful.

Extreme? or just reading on what it actually is - nonsense and not needed for the body. There are better sources of calcium than milk.

The obesity epidemic in America, that is extreme.

It's not really complicated. Milk we buy from the store in the USA isn't healthy. If you like it, sure drink it if it fits your macros, but let's not sit here and act like it has any redeemable qualities.

Now shite, y'all have me agreeing with the low carb guys.

Milks just something that I refuse to believe is bad for me and I'll continue drinking it by the quart.

I'll blame any excess weight 100% on Budweiser

And that's fine, I'm not saying don't drink it, I do on occasion but I do so knowing full well it's not very healthy as I don't have access to raw milk straight from the tit.

My whole point was not to get people to not drink it, but to get people to stop pretending it's good for you.

Exactly. I go through periods of excessive beer and liquor intake, but I don't call it health food.

That's my point. Not necessarily towards you but speaking in absolutes gives the wrong message. Milk is not bad for you. It just could be not the "best" choice. Hell, if you are looking for the perfect macros and a glass of milk fits exactly into the rest of the profile, it is the best choice.

Gotta take a stance though. Can't flip flop between iifym and a "clean" eating. Either somethings are "good" for you or as long as you get within your macro profile, you're good.
