Run four miles in the dry sand on the beach 5 days a week. Lift weights 3 times a week.

I’ve been going pretty much everyday since I started working remotely. I’ve lost ten pounds in just over a month, but most of that is eating far fewer calories.

7 days a week.
Day 1: Chest and abs
Day 2: Shoulders and abs
Day 3: Biceps, Triceps, and abs
Day 4: Back and abs
Day 5: Legs and abs
Repeat.
I am a heavy weight, low rep guy. Pushing to muscle failure on the last rep, usually between 4-10 reps on most exercises.
2 sets per exercise, usually around 12-16 total working sets per day. Most work outs take around 75-90 minutes in duration.
I take longer than normal breaks between sets, letting my heart rate return to near normal before undertaking the next set or exercise.
No cardio.
Turning 40 was when I light the fire. I have been steady at this pace for over 4 years now. Christmas morning, rainy Sundays, while on vacation, it doesn’t matter. You have to commit to it.
There are no shortcuts or secrets. You have to commit to the lifestyle and stay with it for years before you see good results, but they will come. You cannot hide effort.
