PR goals aside, I saw great visual results from squatober. I wish I would’ve taken measurements before starting.

I’m gonna take arm measurements before arm farm. Thought the same thing. I think my quads have a couple inches of growth.

Honestly you prolly at 2 plates now after all the bench and tricep work in this past month.

And I hear you, I’m not doing deadcember this year, doing all I want for Christmas is a big bench cause I’m concentrating on upper body for next year.

May run it also. Not as excited about deadcember as I was for squatober.

I'm going to PR party Monday on Back Squats and Bench Press.

In a couple of weeks, I'll do a PR party for Deadlifts. I'm closing in on the 1000lb club.

I might run this too; I’m liking the look of the example workouts

I went ahead and got bench out the way tonight, went up 15 lbs since I tested last week of sept. Puts me 10 lbs away from lifetime pr. Hoping to get 3 plates by next squatober.

Nice! Wish I had thought to do that today. Looking forward to tomorrow morning. Haven’t hit a true 1RM in a decade

On the 80,90,100,102 etc. I assume y’all are using real max not TM? I guess it really doesn’t matter if you keep climbing until you can’t anymore. I was planning on basing my percents off real max for the whole day tomorrow.

My participating in this annual thread is 3 years in the making. Too many damned hurricanes.

This was fun, can't wait for arm farm.

I was going to use the TM. I’ve never actually hit my theoretical true 1rm. My goal is to do that. If I don’t make it, I’ll take whatever I get and use 90% of that for the next program.

All done. New PR set.

I went off script and my warmups were slightly different than prescribed. Here’s what my workout looked like.

1st warmup: 245 (49%) x 3
2nd warmup: 275 (55%) x 2
3rd warmup: 315 (63%) x 2
4th warmup: 365 (73%) x 2

1st single: 405 (81%)
2nd single: 455 (91%

1st PR attempt: 505 (91%)… previous best was 500 last Squatober. Felt good, no spotter.

2nd PR attempt: 525 (105%) Felt good, a little shaky after but I think it was mostly nerves.

3rd PR attempt: 545 (109%) good lift but didn’t feel like I had more to give after this one.

Now no back squatting for a while to let my shoulder/elbow recover from all the strain of getting under the bar this month.

Goodluck to everyone who hasn’t gone for it yet!

That is not far off from the warmup he posted.

How long did it take?

My current PR is 225. My goal is 245. I'll let you know in a couple hours how it goes.

Bench goal is 215.

No, I just picked off percentages based off of laziness (easier to add a 25 to each side than 2 10s and a 2.5, etc)

I slept a little later thinking it wouldn’t be a long workout. I think I started stretching around 5:55 and walked out of the gym for 5:45. I did take plenty of rest between those top 3 sets though.

This how I went. Figured it would be easier to just post the picture. Didn’t calculate the 420, I just decided to throw 15 more on and go for one last squat which was tough but smashed it!

Great job guys

Props to everyone for hanging all month and thanks to this group for the motivation.

I am caught back up after being out of town. Will PR tomorrow then move into Arm farm with that group until I am gone again for a couple weeks. I like doing this but it is much easier knowing others are out there hammering squats at 0500 also
