Our local course has a summer rate $18.00 after 2 pm for members, but today the "Feels Like" is going to be 107 Texas Hot
Played Monday and Tuesday and was wiped out afterwards.
Drinking Pedialyte before and during rounds.

All the time...just don't walk

Yeah. I hydrate heavily. I get those Gatorade Zero individual packs that are supposed to go in bottles of water, but I put them in the 46 oz Yeti water thermos. I just need a touch of flavor, and then obviously get the electrolytes. So it’s like a Gatorade Zero Light. I’ll go through 2 of those from teeing off till about an hour after the round.
So I guess I’m getting about 80 oz water and two Gatorade’s worth of electrolytes.
If I do this and eat a light supper after, I feel fine.
It’s a noticeable difference if I just drink two or three bottles of water. Feel like shite and get that overheated headache feeling.

Love playing in the extreme heat. Just gotta hydrate well but I enjoy the sweat.
I’m also in my 30’s so I’m sure as I age that could change

I like playing in the heat of the afternoon because the course is usually less crowded. Big hat, big towel, big water bottle and I am good to go.

All the time. Drink tons of water, have towels in ice water, and use fans.

Heat or Cold, Im playing. The heat doesnt really start hitting me until around 16. I try to keep a cold wet towel around and usually keep it on my neck. It works wonders

It's the only time I get to play. Sometimes I can work it to start my round at about 4 pm, but it's still hot as hell. And by the last few holes at around 7ish, any hole remotely into the Sun is a pain to pay attention where the ball is going. So honestly prefer starting at 1-2. Couple Gatorades and my water bottle. Just fill my water bottle every time I pass a cooler (every 3 holes on our course) and try to finish the bottle in between if I can. Park the cart in the shade over driving to the ball if I see I'm waiting on a group.

It will change.
It's like when I hit 67 , I hit a wall with the heat.
We go off at 7am now, but I am still wiped out afterwards.
I use liquid IV in a big water jug and a additional 32 mug.

I love it. Drink about 12-14 gold tops, couple Gatorade and vodkas, a fireball shot or two. Cold towel in the cart cooler with ice and maybe some water every now and again. Typically do this three days in a row as I can normally only play Friday-Sunday.

I usually bring some combination of a few bananas/coconut water/various electrolyte drinks/some kind of sandwich.
The worst days are when its 95, humid, and zero wind. I can handle 100+ if there's a decent wind blowing.

It's Louisiana, so if I want to play golf most of the year I have to play in extreme heat.
I will say, I'd rather the extreme heat than the cold. I check out once it gets around 50.

All the time. I alternate between beer, water and water with liquid IV. Light colored hat and shirt. I also have a pair of Desoto cooling sleeves. I was skeptical of those at first, but they work. As they get wet with sweat, they do get cool. I have a Ryobi fan that I attach to the cart via ratchet strap. Park in the shade as much as possible.

I prefer it. The course is harder and faster and less crowded. Can play in 2.5 hours or less.

Towels in ice water are a game changer. I love a course that has them every few holes. Old Waverly always does that and they are such a relief. Also good remedy for sweaty hands is rubbing some ice between them and a quick dry off

Played yesterday, walking, for our first 100 degree heat. Drank a pedialyte before leaving, pulled 3 waters out of the freezer, had my wet cooling towel around my neck, had spf cooling sleeves, wide brim hat, bought two Gatorades during the round. Around hole 15 I started losing energy, knees and back started hurting. Don't think I will walk 18 in that heat again.
In the direct sun it was freaking hot and miserable, but getting into shade made it survivable. The arm sleeves are awesome and a must. They protect from the sun, they stay cool somehow, and they keep the sweat from dripping down to your hands. Never had an issue with sweaty hands the whole round.

I’m out due to injury
I would play in any fricking weather conditions at the moment.

I’m about to play in a little bit from now. Riding in the cart gives you a refreshing 98° breeze.
