I like watching the various competitions they bring. Its good ideas to try with friends.
I also enjoy watching regular dudes play pro conditions and get destroyed.
I dont really enjoy watch Grant just play. Id rather watch BDS eat 50 donuts through 18 holes with Rahm

so there will be six, ~5 hour videos? That's prob going to be a no for me dog
I don't think they will all be that long. There's a lot to cover in ep. 1.
Intro, picking teams, etc. - don't have to do that moving forward.

They got shorter over time last year. I did a lot of skipping the first few events
The real fun starts as teams get closer to big money and Dave starts making things more vegas

It's easy enough to skip around or go to 2x speed when you get to parts of the video isn't what you are interested in. I easily whittled it down to 3.5 hours or so. There will be less golfers eventually, so the video times will decrease as it goes on.

Bring back the Rougarou Invitational?

Kisner hates these guys. I watched one of the podcast with Riggs, Frankie, and Kiz when the Bryan Bros and Horvat created the YGT and Kisner was dumping all over them. He didn't understand why people would watch them play. He said if you think you are a professional golfer join the PGA. He said he understand why people would watch the "average Joes" trying to break 80 and such but why would anyone watch these guys who are just below Tour level?
And then 2 holes into The Invitational he's cracking on Horvat "the greatest Youtube golfer in the world is even par through 2 holes in a scarmble". Kisner is big time jealous of these guys.
This is either satire or just a complete lack of knowledge of who Kisner is.

The Johnny Manziel group was brutal to watch for me. He’s annoying and the girl who was paired with the other guy in the group was aggravating to listen to.

Unfortunately, the two-year run was it. Fun while it lasted!

This. He's a shite talker and he's good at it, but it's still in jest. Similar to a few others in the series (Santino). They edit it to make some of these interactions look a little more dramatic for clipping and advertising purposes, but 80% of these people are in the same industry and that's the business.
Him commenting on YGT is simply him being a high-level golfer, so it doesn't compute for him internally. He's been around the top level for so long that it just doesn't interest him. However, it is interesting for average golfers who like the game and want to watch more competitive golf with personalities they like or enjoy.

Agreed. I watched most of the first two groups then skipped most of the second. There were too many annoying golfers in the second half.

It’s interesting they haven’t brought up the Good Good controversy at all. Are they saving it for later or are they avoiding it for some legal reasons?
I looked it up they filmed this after the controversy happened

What the heck was with Santino? He tried to play it off as “content” and he leaned into it by talking to Dave about banning them and “talking about it off camera” (which it seemed to me that at that point he realized he lost his cool and he had to make it a bit), but he was so obviously pissed off at Wesley and Bob. All because in a competition with millions at stake they wanted to see a couple amateurs finish out a very missable putt.
He’s always came off as such a jerk to me, half his schtick with Bobby Lee is him just relentlessly making fun of him. He did not add anything funny the whole 5 hour video. He’s supposed to be funny and he’s kicking Wesley’s balls across the green for a little gamesmanship.

Look, I didn't think it was funny. But people trying to make it more than him playing up that angle for laughs are missing it. He's a professional comedian who has to make up witty comebacks on the spot for a living and you think one of his comments was seriously "don't mess with the dragon"? Pretty sure it was all a joke that admittedly did not land well at all.

It was filmed before the Good Good stuff went down. I believe it was filmed in August and that stuff went down in Sept.

You’re right I got my timeline backwards.
Looks like the GoodGood stuff was literally the week after this
