Episode 2 actually might be. From start to finish it was very entertaining but like the last hour or so was legit could not look away content.

There's a clip of Grant putting on the last hole before the playoff where's he visibly shaking

Agreed! The Trent/Jersey Jerry vs. The Duke/Salim hole where they spent and hour trying to get out of trouble was hilarious. The playoff was epic.

Did not know who Big John was before this. Thought he was an annoying douche at first. Can’t lie, by the end of episode 2 I think I have fully come around to liking him.

Agreed. Went from douche to a guy I’ll be rooting for the rest of the way.

8.3 million.

For perspective.

Last year Masters. Saturday (Round 3, CBS): 8.1 million average viewers (highest for the third round in seven years)

I hate these types of comparisons. That’s a live event on TV this is a prerecorded event you can watch at your leisure. Also how many of those views are the same person? Like I’ve probably clicked on this video to watch it 10-15 times

I've still got 80 minutes left of episode 2, but....

This second edition of the Internet Invitational has played out more like real golf that I'm used to seeing. The first one the course didn't punish the bad shots, the greens seemed to funnel into every hole because there were very few missed putts inside of 5 feet and I was thinking all of these golfers were amazing.

So far in this year's event, the bad shots are leading to lost balls, unplayable lies, etc. There is real trouble out there so the best golfers can't always cover up for their partner in alt shot. (did these guys not play a practice round because none of them seem to realize that on hole 10 they are hitting trough the fairway into the junk and are losing balls?)

The missed putts are real on this course. I've seen a more realistic brand of golf with the 3-4 footers being a real knee knocker.

Good stuff!

Just wait till you get to the last 45 minutes, it's peak.

Overall this season has been fantastic, so much better than last season. I was surprised by a few of the new players this year.

Really interesting to watch Horvat in these competitions. No wonder he bailed on real tournaments and just did youtube. The guys hand was shaking out of control onthat putt, never seen that on a golf course. Looked like his hand had a seizure.

Horvat has been very open that he couldn't stomach competition golf, he doesn't really pretend he is on that level.

That was a hell of a video.

My one critique is for whatever reason they are having a really tough time with tracers / showing where the ball ends up. I am not sure if its just the course and blind shots everywhere or what but on most YT videos they do a better job of showing the ball

Still feel like he's a douche. But appreciated the moment and couldn't have been a better scenario. It's actually better that he's a bit of a turd and Portnoy openly dislikes him. Makes for a fun watch.

The big standout to me this year is Justin Gaethje. Impressive how much he consistently contributed playing with pretty high level partners.

I’m a pretty big UFC fan and had no idea Gaethje had this kind of game. Did not expect much out of him and he’s legit pretty dang good. Has had some very impressive long iron/hybrid approach shots.

Decent watch. Last year's tourney was more fun to watch. It was all the first one and that made it fun. A bunch of new people I don't know this year.

Everyone acts so freaking extra all the time. That gets kinda annoying.

I've gotten to where I don't like the Bryan Bros... Especially George... not sure why..

I was pulling for Team Blue....

Fun playoff though. That was cool.

Did you guys see Grant's hands shaking after the putt at the 2:49 mark?? Holy shite!!!!!

WHAT A FINISH!!!!

We really shouldn't be that into this, but that was some awesome stuff. I was on the edge of my seat like I was watching the last 3 holes of a major championship.

How can you not like George? He and Grant are just awesome dudes that are in the category of "almost too good to be true".

Wesley.... yeah, he's a good bit on the cocky side.

Grant's short putt that he made that eventually won the match thanks to Short Game King's choke on a 3 footer, one hand came off the club. Some real nerves there by Grant but he nailed that putt. Then he hit the great fairway bunker shot to set up Big John.

Call me entertained!

As for the full episode...

Great job by the organizers to not allow teams to dump a match. It gave us some interesting matches. The Duke's match where a triple bogey won the hole was what we are craving for. That's the only reason to have some of the weaker golfers in here. We will watch Ruffles, Dalke, and Bryan duke it out for birdies and eagles but we also want to see the holes won with double bogeys or worse. All points count so the bottom third of golfers have a chance to contribute instead of just being cannon fodder.
