I’ve had wear and tear off the whole time because it seemed stupid and over powered.

My RB was out almost an entire half of like the 3rd game of the season due to this.

My 98 HB was out the entire National Championship game after the 1st play. Not on injury list but just "severe" injury risk. Managed to eek out a 3 point win but had to completely change my playcalling.

LBs have def been buffed in coverage but admittedly crossing routes were way too easy to complete before.

Had to turn off kicker penalties as I'd get 2-3 a game even w/o picking block plays.

Seems like 9/10 interceptions end up being pick 6s so wish they'd nerf something there.

It feels like the developers wanted to change player behavior in terms of keeping them from over using/abusing routes that were money most of the time in Madden and the old NCAA games by making those still work but increasing the chance they get picked, and when they do get picked its probably a house call.

It seems like user DBs don't jump routes and intercept the ball nearly as much for me

It's really odd.

Varsity Level:
- Slide OL correctly, less than a second in the pocket on every play. Had to turn the Pass block up to 100 just to have a chance.
- Placement and Accuracy - was able to place the ball where I wanted to and was figuring it out, now my QB (no matter the rating) either badly under throws or over throws the receivers (randomly).
- WR drops are way up
- LB/DBs are back to having a 6th sense and god-like jumping abilities to cut off routes.

I was just about to move from Varsity to All American, as I was figuring out the game mechanics.

I noticed the same thing. I had to turn my intermediate catch settings to conservative when playing on Monday for the first time since the update.

I've turned cpu interceptions way down so now they just bat the ball down or drop the pass most of the time. Still throw about a pick or two every game so it's realistic. Played UGA last night and their qb threw 6 picks. Only won by a score. I missed 3 field goals with my freshman kicker.

I've noticed read options are tougher to get good yardage. Speed option still works well, although will get some weird pitch animations. HB Screen works well for both user and the cpu, almost too well, but i get hit and make a bad throw probably 25% of the time.

I can't recruit offensive linemen. Back to back national champs and I'm getting worked in recruiting by Nebraska for blue chips. Don't think Hard Sell does anything at all.

What I don’t understand is this….

My numbers might be off because I’m not home right now, but if you select DM the player, search social media, AND contact family, it gives you MORE total influence than you get ‘sending the house’ but the time spent is cheaper…

What’s the deal with that?

I'm playing with LSU and Kylin Jackson commits a roughing the punter penalty literally every single time my opponent punts. It's maddening. Anyone else getting this?

Every time I get a stop and I have an opportunity to take the lead, I get a roughing the punter penalty.

I play on Heisman and they make the craziest shite happen to screw me. How does a two year starter not know an audible?

My guess is the arrows are just a visual representation of how much influence and there are “unseen” bonuses for send the house, hard sell and soft sell.

The only way to tell for sure is the influence bar, but since it’s only visual it’s probably not that clear.

I offer every player on my board in the preseason. This keeps their interest up enough for a late season push for the guys I don’t go after initially. Then I go “all in” on 15-18 recruits that I really want first, and use send the house until I unlock hard sell. Schedule visits as early as possible and get them to commit. I usually have 9 or 10 committed by week 5-6 and move on to the next set that I still have enough time to make up ground on. As I unlock hard sell that opens up enough points to go after 2 or 3 more recruits. Another trick is the week of their visit I remove all pitches because chances are I’m going to get a commitment. I go ahead and use those on another guy and circle back to them if they don’t commit.

End of the regular season I’ll have ~25ish guys committed and then fill out the rest of the class in the offseason with lower rated guys and transfers.

Seems to work out.

are you using punt block or punt safe? When I started using punt safe the roughing penalties stopped. It's just not worth it for the once every few games where I might actually get a block.

Especially when you consider that the CPU decides to go on full unstoppable mode if they retain possession after a penalty. I'll be absolutely dominant and the moment I get a roughing call, I can't stop them at all moving forward.

That’s usually my easiest position to get lol. My first two classes in my South Carolina dynasty I signed either 17-18 OL lol. I had 6 centers alone in my first class.

It doesn’t. People have tested it and Send the House will always give you more influence than the other 3 combined. May not be a huge amount, but it is more.

Correct, I think people have confirmed the arrows are just bait and there's nothing scientific about their actual impact.

I noticed a lot of drops but chalked it up to playing with UTEP

I bumped my catch slider up to 65 and that helped, it seemed. My guys can actually hold on to a ball in traffic with a handful of drops mixed in. Feels like a more realistic catch rate.

UAB is in the playoffs

Also, going into next season, half my team will be white while 75% of the cheerleaders and crowd are black. LOL, if it's in the game....

This is the main problem I have with the game. Messes the immersion completely up for me. I try to imagine we deported millions of black people from this country in the next few years but it doesn't help much.
