My players ratings are different when I look at the depth chart out of game than they are during a game.

Did a full heel turn after 5 years, 3 #1 recruiting classes and 1 Natty as the OC at Florida State. Opened up my job offers and Miami offered me the HC gig and I immediately accepted.

The double stack in the veer is kinda broken. If you run zone against it, they can easily bomb you over the top.

This last patch really is a complete disaster. Like every gameplay change is for the worse. Wear and Tear is absurd now. They need to get that offline fix out asap because I can’t do anything with it right now.

My RB was out almost an entire half of like the 3rd game of the season due to this. He was out so many drives I had to check the injury report just to make sure he wasn't actually hurt. I ended up turning it back off, as I turned it off originally because the CPU kept getting those free timeouts late in games but I decided to turn it on after I cooled off lol. But nope it's off again until they can balance it better.

I feel like they messed the game up on purpose for some madden sales and then for a repop when the college season is starting and fixing it all so it almost feels like a new game again……that’s bullshite

Yeah it’s like EA saw every complaint and rather than tuning it to fix them, they made them much worse?
OL not pass blocking that well? Let’s make them stupid and OP CPU pass rushers.
CPU dbs covering too well? Let’s give them sticky hands and make them route mirrors on every play, oh and human QBs are far less accurate.
Wear and Tear effects need to be tuned down just a smidge? Oh no we are going to make them far more intense so every other piece of contact drops a player’s overall by 5-10 until the end of the quarter, maybe the game.
Don’t have a tab for athletes in offseason position change? No worry, you won’t be able to change incoming freshman positions until the next season begins and we’ll put athletes at whatever we listed them as default at in recruiting and if you want to edit their position you’ll have to go in their player card, change the position, back out and see what their new rating is. If you don’t like what it is at the new position, you have to go back in and keep changing it and backing out until you find the position they are best suited for or you are happy with them at.
The sim logic is marginally better for better rated teams, but the polls are still off and my god the sim stats are trash for running backs. After the last game of the regular season in my current dynasty, there were only 4 running backs with over 1k rushing yards and two of them were on my team. That’s crap. Ollie Gordon only getting 200ish carries in a season with no injury? Lol yeah okay.

Glad to see I’m not the only one losing my mind. I’m doing way worse post patch. The only route that is open is the deep bomb which does nothing when they 10 deep off the line with safety help. 40 plus drops by receivers. No running lanes and pass blocking is non existent. Eveypass is overcharged into the red or floats to the db’s

When they do that the only thing that works for me is that 5 wide play with the one receiver running a drag underneath.
Does anyone else think recruiting is crazy hard now? Like I used to have the 14 and 13 down to science and would usually have a full class by week 10 and would just be tying up loose ends by the offseason. Now I am in made dash making offers to everyone just trying to have 20 players.
Between recruiting and the gameplay it’s just not fun to grind your way up at a small school anymore.

Yeah it basically feels like they nerfed certain passing routes to combat cheesers who abuse the same play concepts over and over again, and they inadvertently screwed over casuals who just call random plays.
It should be hard to complete 50 air-yard bombs over a DB, not completing a basic slant pass over the middle getting the ball warp-batted by a 85 speed LB.

It’s bad. So bad. I put pass blocking up to 100 just to see what happened. I’m in year 4 of my dynasty and my OL is great. Free DLinemen almost every play just running right past people.

I don’t find it plays any differently. I played a game a few minutes ago and before that, last time I played was a week or so ago.

The auto-sub in the second team has also been greatly increased. I was up by 24 in a game and it auto-subbed to start the second half. Not having the ability to user control that is so unbelievably dumb.

I've never seen so many whiny arse people talking about problems I'm not even seeing. Madden 25 gameplay is actually better than NCAA (so maybe trade it in for that?) but some of the issues you guys are complaining about aren't even a problem for most of us.

It's actually been the opposite for me. Once I was in the 4th year of my dynasty at Ga Southern and finished a couple seasons ranked it got easier with the increased prestige. This last season (the one I'm paused on until they fix the athlete/freshman position change crap) I was done recruiting at like week 7 with five 5 stars and a ton of 4s. Left 10 schollys open for the portal where I nabbed another bunch of 4 star transfers. If you focus on getting your top prospects in for visits around weeks 5-7 it's almost too easy.
