Sally's and Frank Pepe are legendary but they overcook the crust IMO. My favorite in the NE that isn't in NYC is a little pizzeria just over the line in MA near Sturbridge. I can't remember the name for the life of me.

I’m always amazed at opinions on pizza. I have traveled this great land of ours extensively. I’m talking 20+ years of business travel including time at a place with over 50 manufacturing locations.

Pizza is pizza. A freaking slice of pizza from RaceTrac is about as good as 90% of the joints out there. There isn’t a pizza place I have ever visited that I consider a must visit. But that’s just me.

Once again south park nailed it. Yelp ratings are worthless.

Is that traditional NY style by the slice, or more of a sit down/coal fired place? My favorite pizza is Joe’s (around where Bleeker hits 6th ave). Nothing complicated, just the quintessential NYC style slice of cheese pizza.

Pizza places should be judged by a slice of cheese pizza. Not that I won’t get a slice of pepperoni or other meats, but the star of the show should be the crust/sauce/cheese, and not the added gimmick toppings, when comparing. Although I would probably take a fresh hot Margherita pizza from Tottonos’ in Coney Island over any other pizza.

Did Johnny's make the list? If not, then list isn't legit.

Jesus Christ. So these people are probably not even eating the shite they are ranking. Of all the foods New Orleans is known for, is sure as hell isn't BBQ.

There’s a place in Sardis, MS called Tribecca Allie Cafe. Wood fired pizzas that are amazing. Calzones are awesome too. Not 3 minutes off I-55 and worth the time if you’re ever passing through.

Ehhh not so fast.

While people do go overboard with pizza, food, anything in general... there is a huge difference between a bland, one dimensional pizza with frozen toppings you find at Little Caesars vs. one made with a variety of herbs and fresh ingredients.

Same as any type of food. Would you be able to tell the difference between this?
