White Beans and Shrimp

I put a pot of white beans on to cook earlier and added some nice shrimp toward the very end.
Started of with some green onion sausage and pork jowl.
Added onion, celery, b-pepper, garlic and green onions and cooked that down a bit.
Added the beans, brought it to a light boil and then simmered until done.
Toward the end added fresh parsley and the shrimp and it was ready to enjoy.
Threw some sweet potatoes in the oven and baked those and warmed some French bread slice and it was time to eat!

Don't think I've ever had shrimp n beans. This looks good though

I believe Cafe Reconcile in NO began serving that several years ago. I ate white beans all my life with sausage but once you try with shrimp you will never look back. It works so well together. Now, I don’t know about red beans?

I'd eat a plate. I love white beans and I love shrimp. I don't see how that could taste bad.

I've never had it but there isn't zero chance that dish is anything but delicious.

I was going to say the same thing. Saw some butter beans in freezer earlier and thought they’d pair well with the shrimp I’m picking up this weekend.

Never tried that but it looks great.
