They're not even in the same category to me. And Canes has the blandest, least seasoned chicken anywhere. It's fine for the women and kids but Popeye's wins this hands down.

I had some elite Krispy Krunchy one time and there's no doubt for me its the best chcken tender Ive ever had, including my favorite local place.

Having said that they screwed up by getting rid of real honey and switching to frozen biscuits. It's not just your imagination, those 2 changes destroyed what was formally the food of the gods.

Popeyes still taste the best. You don't need mayo & ketchup to eat it.
Having said that. Popeyes has the smallest chicken pieces on the planet and they shrunk the sides container again.
I'll only get Popeyes if I have to eat it at work but I can say the same for Canes. I've never paid for it but have a family member who always brings it to family events. Bland is the best I can say for Canes.
