I dunno but the line from the admissions officer “If I had the power to deny you admission I’d do it with so much enthusiasm our psychology professors would want to study it” had me laughing my arse off.
Along with BBs line “they got mosquitoes so big they could frick a turkey standing flat footed”
That was an enjoyable episode. Ali Larter is so damn fine

Not sure on Misty. But her brother just got sentenced to 32 years at Angola. I grew up with both of them. Crazy how lives can take such different paths.

I thought this was a clever use of one, not into the whole Jeep culture thing but thought it was pretty cool and the skeleton ducks on the hood were a nice touch lol.

Saying "brewery" out loud always makes me feel pretty dumb.

1. East Beauregard. K-12. Met many of my life-long friends there. Class of 2001

I have had browns and blues. Really liked both. Specifically a Ducky Legend with Browns. I fricked up and decided to try silvers on my current Corsair K95. Typos out the arse. If i look at it wrong it will register a keystroke.

There is a chance I know you, or at least saw you lol. I did a good bit of work in there. It is indeed extremely nice in there.

It will mostly be Illustrator and Photoshop, yes. Some After Effects and Premier, but very rarely. Also some Substance, mostly just for mock ups and text modelling.
I will see if I can convince him to let me build one, but I guess he gets a decent discount from Lenovo. I'll have to ask when he's back from vacation. I know it doesn't take a $2k+ computer to run those things. I've done it before. I just don't know shite about Lenovo builds. Is it just their pricing that makes them that much?
ETA: I realized the way i worded my OP was probably misleading. When I say used "heavily" I meant that is pretty much all it will be for. Not "heavily" as in long arse renderings of video or 3D. My bad on that.

So the owner of my company told me to go pick out a new PC (desktop). It will be used for the Adobe suite very heavily....all of it. The catch is, it has to be direct from Lenovo. I usually build all mine and am not familiar with Lenovo pre-builts. He is known to be a tight arse, so definitely under 2k. This will be just for the tower by the way. Thanks for any feedback.

It’s doesn’t have a samurai handle or sheath. Have you ever seen an actual katana?

I'll never understand the complete randomness of bleeping curse words. "arse" gets bleeped, "frickin," "shite," Goddamn" is fair game...sometimes. Then those same words get randomly bleeped at other times. All that aside, I'd **** that hamburger steak up.

re: Abundance of TX Plates
Posted by BoogerNuts on 6/27/25 at 4:39 pm to TigerBalsagna
I live in LC, so obviously TX plates are quite abundant. What I don’t get is the seemingly recent abundance of TN plates. Like why the hell are there suddenly and seemingly random amounts of them? They are all on cars, I can’t recall seeing one on a truck.
I know in LA rental cars will have a “Commercial” designation, so maybe some rental agency in TN sold out? I dunno how their system works but there is no discernible designation on the plates.

All of these pussies in this thread being angry about us bombing a country attempting to get nukes while openly chanting “Death to America” is absolutely wild to me. frick’em.
re: US "Doomsday Plane"
Posted by BoogerNuts on 6/20/25 at 2:42 pm to Lizardman2
There is a Navy E-6B Mercury (the Navy's "Doomsday Plane) at Chennault here in Lake Charles right now. Doesn't mean shite tho, they are in and out of here all the time for maintenance and upgrades. The Navy one is used for command of all our nuclear launch methods (subs, silos, bombers).

S&S on Lake Street has the best, but its a drive thru pickup, not a sitdown. For that, Seafood Palace, Mr. Bills, Mary's Lounge/Macs. For good enough crawfish and guaranteed to be showing the game, Tad's.

I could do this for you. what size are you looking for and what type of material? I'm in Lake Charles. if you could have it scanned you wouldn't need to mail it and i understand why you wouldn't want to. Also is this photo an original developed onto film paper?
Need a new food processor.

Mine has finally crapped out after about 8 years. Was a Cuisinart, 8 cup.
I’m preferably looking for one that comes with a larger and smaller bowl that I can also do meat in. Ideally keeping the budget around $200.
Any recs welcome, thanks.

re: Netflix to release Darren McFadden "The Underdog" documentary in December

I remember going to that game in TS in 2007. Stopping at the gas station before to load up on beer and see some people decked in Arkansas gear with his face airbrushed on it. I jokingly said "Damn ya'll some big McFadden fans huh?" The lady said "He's our son, so yea kinda." They were very nice and thought it was a cool encounter.
