What Style of Pizza is your favorite and Other?

Apparently these are the most prominent:
I think my favorite is New Haven although I never knew the name of it before.
NY and Chicago styles also like a lot.
Neapolitan or other “artisan” styles - I’m always open to different pizza but I’m usually not crazy about these types.

Classic Italian Styles
Neapolitan: The original thin crust baked in a very hot wood-fired oven for under 90 seconds, featuring simple toppings like Margherita or Marinara.
Sicilian (Sfincione): A thick, spongy, rectangular pan pizza topped with tomatoes, onions, herbs, and hard sheep's milk cheese.
Roman (Al Taglio): Rectangular trays baked with a light, airy crust, cut with scissors, and sold by weight.
Popular American Styles
New York Style: Large, wide slices with a thin, foldable crust that is chewy on the inside and crisp on the edge.
Chicago Deep-Dish: Baked in a deep round pan with high buttery edges, layered with cheese and meat on the bottom and chunky tomato sauce on top.
Detroit Style: A rectangular pan pizza with an airy crust, cheese melted to the edge for a caramelized crust, and tomato sauce striped on top.
New Haven Style ("Apizza"): A thin-crust, coal-fired pie with a characteristically charred, chewy crust, famously served as a white clam pie.

Nothing beats a good thin crust to me.

Neopolitan Pizza Diavola by a mile; perfect serving size for a single meal, and "spicy"
. Detroit style second, but the leftovers last too long for one dude to eat without having to throw a bunch of it out.

If done right, you can’t beat it.
Also like New Haven.
New York is definitely the American favorite but I think it’s just ok.
That said, I’m not turning down any of them.

Thin, crisp tavern/cracker crust.

It's all good.
New York Style is probably my favorte, with Neopolitan next. The pizza I had in Rome was mostly disappointing -- the sauce was too bland.
A good Chicago style pizza is hard to find these days, but I used to love the place in Auburn (Carmine's) that served them.

My favorite is Buffalo style pizza.
Buffalo-style pizza is a distinct regional style from Western New York featuring a thick, spongy, focaccia-like crust, a sweet and robust tomato sauce spread all the way to the edge, an abundance of mozzarella cheese, and "cup-and-char" pepperoni.

New York style-------and it's not even close.
That's all I buy and all I make at home.

Napoletana, but not the sloppy wet shite where the ingredients slide off that some of these try-hards attempt to pass off as traditional Neopilitan pizza.

Pittsburgh style: a round pie with thinner crust, similar to New York style, but chewy, not crispy. It should be cooked at a lower temperature for longer, without really blistering or developing color. It should have a very “cooked” tasting sauce that’s kinda sweet, with a relatively large amount of 50/50 provolone and mozzarella blend. Like quite a bit more cheese than you’d expect.
2nd would be Ohio Valley (cold cheese/topping) style.

Chicago deep-dish.
Cannot stand NY thin, 90% grease pizza.
