Teet's in Ville Platte has an online store and shipping. One of the best online I've found.

I like Double D because it tends to stay juicy in a jambalaya whereas a lot of other brands dry up. I also like any of the Laplace andouilles.

Veron's Supermarket. Not to be confused with the stuff made in Prairieville.

I always add a pound or two of Jacobs to whatever smoked sausage I have. It makes a difference in a good way.

Porches in French Settlement is what I stock my freezer with for jambalaya

There's a ton of meat markets that make there own smoked sausage around here so it comes down to personal preference.

2nd that. That's how smoked sausage is suppose to be done. Feel bad for people who are stuck with commercially made sausage.

Good stuff thats for sure. I will use it if I have it.
If I don't have any of my own home made stuff left I will go with Murray's or Kim LeBlanc's. I have also used with good results The Jambalaya Shoppe Smokehouse.
If I have to use the mass produced stuff Martin's or Veron's will do.

I'd love to try any of these places in Acadiana, but I'm not gonna have time to drive there before Saturday. I'm prob gonna give Bergeron's in port Allen a try.
