I'm prob gonna give Bergeron's in port Allen a try.

Can't go wrong with Bergeron's. In that area there is Benoit's meat market in Addis as well. He has some pretty good smoked sausage.

I like a good, smoky flavor from my sausage in jambalayas and gumbos.

For that, Peto's in Roanoke (Exit 59 on I-10) and Rita's in Evangeline is very good.

I like em.. They also have good andouille, hamhocks, meat pies and a nice selection of prepared foods.

if I don't get the fresh stuff from Bergerons I use a beef pork mix from fresh market.

I don't want soy proteins, MSG and a ton of other preservatives and flavor enhancers. Verons has one thats pretty good for packaged meat.

Savoies Smoked Mixed Hot, Green Onion, or Garlic. All are really good. I also really like Piggly Wiggly in Scott's Smoked Pork Hot.

They've shot people for just joking about that in Ville Platte. T-Boys in Mamou or Leroy's in Ville Platte
