Victorias in Denham steak fajitas. The outside of the restaurant is ugly and I am not sure where the name came from. But fajitas for one feeds us both for $20 and it tastes pretty good

My wife did a nice recipe from the Pioneer Woman.

Skillet chicken with kale, red onion, yellow tomatoes, with an herb sauce.

Not a large and lush plating, but was delicious.

LL, how did you get the bacon browned so well without overcooking the meat?
This is something I cannot seem to master and I like the bacon cooked. Yours looks great.

Love that shrimp curry dish. It's my usual/favorite the local Thai place.

If I would have been making it myself, I'd have partially cooked the bacon and then wrapped just to be safe But this was defrosted from an old Hebert's trip and not able to be partially cooked.

I lost the instructions.. so I cooked at 425 degrees and used my smoking thermometer that has an external screen I was carrying around with me. Pulled as soon as it hit 135 internal temp and let rest 5 minutes.
