even the gay people use "ur gay" as an insult against the truth. You people are pathetic, desperate losers.

ETA: You chose to reject how you were created. Nothing more, nothing less. And you are free to do so. That doesn't mean you didn't choose.

It's really simple dude. I'm not tempted by people I'm not attracted to. There's no temptation to resist.

You on the other hand said that you have to resist that temptation. So you're rejecting how you were created. Again, hope you figure yourself out.

No, it isn't a choice made daily. It's a temptation like any other. The devil knows what will be most effective on you. It isn't any worse or better than any other sin people indulge in.

Sorry the truth scares you.

Gay guy here. If you're tempted with attraction to men, you're at the very least bisexual. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, lots of people are.

You seem to be projecting your own self-disgust for having those desires onto other people who don't share your hangups. There's a lot wrong with that.

Hope you figure yourself out.

Serious answer: au poivre

100%

One of the things I love about higher-end steak houses is that even if it's not on the menu, you can always ask "can the kitchen make an au poivre sauce with this?" and the answer is always "yes of course."
On Lee by the new construction between Burbank and Nicholson, right up from Mike's.

Dad's in assisted living now, so asked him what he wanted for Christmas lunch. Could be anything I said, no worries. He said shrimp creole with French bread, so gonna pick him up and take him to our old house and make shrimp creole and French bread!

100% of the reason I don't go out past my knees anymore!
It's like Christmas in Rangoon!
Co-worker said that was in the old (and bad) Rice and Roux place. Going to try their Tandoor Chicken, naan, and a veg curry tomorrow. Will report!

just hope none of you people claim to be Christians…

Why?

Hey baw. Since you're also from North La. and claim to be Christian, read up on Jesus' instructions:

The Beatitudes
quote:

wash the rice in the pot, water about an inch above the rice, come to a boil, turn off and remove from heat, cover and let sit for 13mins.

Wrong at literally every point.
Fuego

It's fast Tex Mex but they make their own tortillas and they have breakfast tacos all day.

McAllister's in general is pretty good, but that location has the worst service of any FF restaurant I've ever been too.

It was mind boggling how bad the service was the one time we went. It's like they just pressed random buttons in the computer when we ordered and gave us whatever came from that.

The first and last time I went it was like the people couldn't be bothered taking my order. When I got my food it was barely what I would call a sandwich. Just garbage tier effort and product from that location.

Sounds like everything around there is closing, good thing I moved
I was really happy with all the options around there when I lived in Southdowns.

"Everything" is not closing down. There's a CFA, Whataburger, Finbomb, Waffle House, Fuego, Panda Xpress, Albasha, Jimmy John's, Jason's Deli, Dave's Hot Chicken and Chipotle right in that area. If all that is too low rent for you Mike Anderson's is just down the street.

[edit] Can't believe I forgot Cheba Hut. My gracious.

McAllister's in general is pretty good, but that location has the worst service of any FF restaurant I've ever been to.

These two for sure. No idea how either of them is still in bidness.
100%

You can get a couple of thick cut loin chops at supermarkets for $7.50. Pork shoulder is even cheaper for more meals, and can be used in a lot of ways!

Farmed salmon is also fairly cheap, although not nearly on the same level as pork.

Beef is great but there are other proteins besides it and chicken.
Lately a reverse sear to 125, then finished the sear in a shallot/thyme/butter sauce.

Served on the side: slow sauted onions and mushrooms with garlic and thyme.Usually do small yukons for potatoes, or garlic bread if I'm feeling a bit carby.

Woodward sucks for the hire and contract.

What do you think about the $90+ mil over 7 years for LK? Is that cool?

[e]: Scott Woodward didn't make that offer.
The absolute worst are the BR natives who've never lived anywhere else, but will sit there and shite talk every other metro area in 500 miles.

If you were just going to do that anyway it's not much of a sacrifice
