Incredible collection of recipes - yall are some amazing cooks. Thanks to all who participated, it's really a lot of fun for a total amateur like me to see what yall come up with.

1. Got Blaze - so creative
2. NOLAGT - just a suggestion, display the BW alone or use more complementary (optically) sides. BW looked absolutely amazing.
3. Darla - I could taste it, and the poached egg was perfect

Tough as always.

Probably the most visually appealing beef wellingtons I've ever seen. That's a hard dish to keep from looking like garbage if you aren't careful.

Powerman - Sea Bass with Israeli Couscous and Mushrooms

Would definitely eat this, even with the "ugly" brown sauce we didn't get to see

Got Blaze - Mushrooms: Chargrilled, Soup, Salad, Sushi

I usually avoid voting for entries that aren't 1 cohesive dish (no idea why though?), but these were so creative and awesome. You could have entered these all separately, but I am very glad you didn't so I could vote for them all as 1.

My votes are:

1 - Darla Hood - Mushroom Galette... I'm a carb maniac so this really spoke to me! I love how versatile the galette seems and can't wait to try making one. I'm dreaming of brunch already!

2 - LouisianaLady - Non-Vegan Mushroom Bolognese... clearly hours of planning and work and always delicious looking!

3 - NOLAGT - Beef Wellington... perfection on his first try!

ETA: Honorable mention to Lambdatiger - Crabmeat Cheesecake topped with a Portobello
and Crab Claw Meuniere... please post a recipe if you get time!!!

I'd be remiss if I didn't thank all of the entrants past and present for their painstaking documentation of these dishes. Not only does it showcase talent and creativity, it lends a level of accessibility to novices like me. Seeing the steps behind these impressive and often intimidating dishes really does help motivate me to be more creative and brave in the kitchen.

So much talent in this competition. So impressive. I tend to vote more on what I feel like eating rather than how something is made. Maybe that's wrong!
