I don’t see the issue with the scrambled eggs. Just the well done steak.
Fried eggs with a runny yoke is the only option paired with steak.

my ex and i were at this little restaurant in avignon and she kept going on about how good the andouillette was. she ordered us two, i took a sniff, and knew exactly what it was. i'd been in the kitchen enough times while my grandma was cleaning tripe to never forget that horrible smell.
i labored through mine as she wolfed hers down. she asked why I didn't like it, so I asked her what exactly she thought she was eating. when i told her it was pig intestines she looked at me like i'd just killed a puppy.

Never told anyone this but way long time ago in Dallas I took a rep out for lunch. He said he wanted BarBQ so I take him to my favorite. I order sliced beef sandwich beans and fries. He said same thing but when the guy started slicing the brisket he tells the guy no I want that meat pointing to the scrap trimmings pile. The guy says that is all fat trimmings.
The Rep says yep that's what I want with a little sauce. I couldnt watch him eat it, solid fat sandwich. Weird.

In a good barbecue place, burnt ends are often the best thing in the house.

Probably 10 years ago or more, wife wanted Subway(Subway is crap FYI) so we both go in.
Guy before us ordered one of those little pizzas. Girl behind counter asked what he wanted on it, he said "tuna". She thought he was kidding. He wasn't. She topped that pizza with tuna, stuck it in the oven for 2 minutes or so.
I had to leave the Subway because the smell was horrific. Wife stayed to order her turkey sub.
Terrible experience.
haha! What a story, mark.

I know someone who used to, at McDs, order a cheeseburger, no meat. I witnessed the same reaction from the employee several times. There was usually a slight pause, like they were entering the "minus meat part" and then a "Would you like anything else....Wait! You want a cheeseburger with no meat?......So, just a cheese sandwich?"
McDonalds has a meal deal that is 2 cheeseburgers with fries and a drink. I prefer those little burgers without the cheese (they don't melt the cheese on the burgers like they do on the breakfast) so when they call it out once its ready, they always say "TWO CHEESEBURGERS NO CHEESE"

Burt Ends? No it was the trimmed fat off the flat, that's all just black fat.
I know someone in South La and every time we went to this fried chicken place he would order his rare, I mean bloody. They would have to fry his pieces separate because all the pieces they had already fried were fully cooked. He would say I want to taste the blood?? Gross.

I got a friend that likes his burgers with just meat bread and ketchup. No matter what restaurant we are at, if he is ordering a burger it is ordered plain.

Not that crazy, but had a friend who went to Taco Bell and always ordered a beef burrito, but at that time Taco Bell didn’t offer just a beef burrito. He had to order a bean burrito, add beef, no beans.......or maybe he wanted just a bean burrito? shite, either way it was dumb how he had to order it

When I worked at Pizza Hut back in HS there was a guy who’d order anchovy & pineapple pizzas. Back then I thought it was so nasty, but nowadays I guess I can understand the salty-sweet combo.
Also there were people who’d order their pizza “extra sloppy” — they’d just want the sauce and cheese and toppings thrown on in a big mess

I was hanging out by the hotel pool in Houston and Alice Cooper was in the chaise lounger next to me. He had breakfast delivered to him poolside and when the waiter brought it to him, he said, "Take it all back, and bring it back, burnt." The waiter asked, "Everything?". He responded, "Everything". They brought back burnt eggs, burnt toast and burnt bacon. It smelled like the exhaust from a city bus.

The strangest thing I order, besides rare hamburgers, is Ebi at sushi restaurants. They give you the tail raw, but the head fried. It’s awkward. The damn head is pointy and the eyes are buggy, but you have to eat it. Lately I’ve just been eating the spider portion and leaving the barb and eyes on the plate.

Used to travel for work with a guy that was so picky he'd basically only eat hamburgers - meat and bun only so no cheese, condiments anything.
Baw was like 40 years old too. I'd be surprised if he doesn't post here.
