I read that in the Japanese version of Battle of the Planets people died and producers thought that American kids didn’t need to see that and edited those parts out. Kind of like GI Joe always showing parachutes when planes were shot down.
The undersea robot was used as filler and to explain what producers thought American kids were too stupid yo understand.
Also, in the Japanese version Keyop’s (sp?) speech was s bunch of cussing :lol:
